the announcement that iob is closed doesn't appear until 1210 server time, when the entry into iob closes at 1209.

yeah iob closes 1 minute before the announcement. its been mentioned on forums before. nothing has been done about it. but thats to be expected.

Why don't you just make sure your in IOB at or before 12:09 then? 9 minutes seems very sufficient to get into IOB even if your running a dozen alts.
And in all honestly the simplest solution to this problem is to change the time on the event page to 12:00 -12:09 to enter instead of altering the actual time it closes.

some people have crappy computer and suffer from lag with all the alts flooding sg. some ppl are busy doing other things and have to rush there, and cant get in because it closes a minute early. the easiest solution is what you said, but thats just devs being lazy.

the truth is IOB open at 11:59 st and closes at 12:09 lol. the announcement is late thats true, however you still have a 10 minute window as intended.
