I went to test to see how much this would help me in NM SR, and it was consistently hitting me for 3.3k damage before I put my skills in it. Then I maxed it while he was still attacking me and it started hitting me for 3.6k up to 4.5k with an extra 15% damage reductions, not once hitting me for what it was before. I'm kind of confused as to how 15% damage reduction can cause me to get hurt even more.

buffs or no buffs , blessing or no blessing , crit or no crit , and I believe zabuga has a passive that inflicts the same damage either way ( the flame thing he does).
I know for a fact that addition reductions will reduce damage from most attacks unless the attack in question ignores defense.
and did you take points out of earths blessing for your steroids? if so that would explain extra damage as u have less defense.
there a lot of different factors that could explain this, please check into all available scenarios and then if you still can't find out why, I'm not sure what to tell you other than that skill is not bugged in any way.Last edited by MisterCuddles; 01-31-2014, 03:19 PM. -

No buffs, no blessing, non crits. It was Kualu that I was testing it on. I didn't modify my skills even the slightest except for adding the five spare points that I was saving since level 60 for Steroids. I can't think of any reason why I started to take more damage on him the moment that I maxed it.Comment
