Do not encourage players to exploit in game, I do not find that cute.

It's not a glitch just part of the game , you can use marriage rings to teleport to spouse/husband/wife outside of any instance.
Just because you have marriage rings does not mean you will win fairy search. I have placed 1st and got 2 alts in the top 10 without using marriage rings.
It may be a slight advantage but does not really change the event or the way it works or who wins.

Fairies appear in multiple places of the map, so no it doesn't "usually" appear at the far end of Starglade. One does appear there, but there's several other fairies you can go after, but perhaps you're just late it getting the fairies closer to the event NPC. You were searching for a mod's response and you received one from Cuddles. Read it and weep. A.) It is not a glitch. B.) It is a slight advantage. No matter, now that Cuddles has confirmed that it is part of the game, marry your alt and give the teleportation ring a try at the next Fairy Search.

P.S. I'd just like the add that today's top 3 placer's (a ranger and two knights) in my server's Fairy Search event were all single -- no teleportation ring needed to make it to the top. :3

Whenever I do the event as well, I get top 1-3 like every 2nd time as a Priest so it's without any tricks, just gotta know the spawns. Buuut then again if everyone was had the same knowledge and used the rings, I'd stand at no chances, lol.

Just run to one of the 2 closest spawns and wait if you have a fast connection you will win 1/3 days for sure.
Rings might help once in awhile slight advantage, not against the rules in any way.

anyone didn't get that? i can explain with more scenes, and btw he did not marry his alt, but he pilot his partner (in other word his partner also want fairy but he is sleeping" so he log him on and do the trick ... not believe just check his logging IP sharing.

and another thing for mr. modirator (for that kind of issues, why don't we open a section for voting ? ) to interact with the other players and seek majority opinion , hopping its not only me

Slight advantage?! Do you play the game? How's it a slight advantage when he go claim the fairy to the end of the map and teleport back and turn in , in 1 sec?! Everyone else is doomed! It's just a glitch on the event that's been exploited!And ofc if none plays in your server i would make top10 easy with alts too since you made it a competition!
