How to level up solo a 35+ lvl tank?

Hi all. I'm playing solo because I can be interrupted by my job in ANY random moment. In solo I should just find the safe place and stay there until I can be back to game. Till 30th lvl I played totally comfortable, leveling up just with the quests, but not now. On level 35 I have just a middle quality equipment and game becomes more difficult for soloing.

Could anyone propose me the way to continue solo playing (actually leveling up and collecting better equipment)? I read guids on this forum, but couldn't find any suitable answer for this question.

Yep, pretty much going to be a bit of grinding. Make sure you do the Tour of Starglade quests, and since you're going to be grinding anyway, the Daily Hunt quests aren't so bad.

If you find yourself online at 3pm and 7pm, pop into Sengolia, which gives you experience when you collect the rewards when it ends. Sengolia also gives you honor and badges, which you will need for much better equipment later.

Join a guild and do Guild Quests, which are done solo and give exp plus honor.

For gear, since you can't solo vault nightmare, you can purchase epic ethereal shards from player shops and synth your own gear. You can also ask in your trade chat for purple equipment for your level. If you're nice, there's usually someone who will help you find all the gear you need.

Soloing dungeons as a mortal tank isn't easy for a few more levels yet, so you really will be relying on:

AFK, dailies, daily hunt, quest, grinding.

I'm an analyst and head of testing department in IT company (web-software development). Figuratively, my work is solving problems. So, when there are a lot of problems (a deadline time for instance ), I should work almost 24/7. But when (almost) all is fine, I should just be online waiting for any problems.

It's a reward for working 24/7 other time Sometimes it may be a weeks of 24/7. But now are weeks of 'sit-n-waiting'.

I felt that tank really boring, so tried a new character - a holy priest. Now I think knight is not good selection for solo playing. Healer is much much better. Can describe it in more details if it'll be interesting for someone.

One more question about solo playing. Where can I get pristine shards (ethereal and higher), except buying from other players?

Which dungeons? Can I find it in Indigo? I think Vault is a bit too hard for soloing even in normal mode for 35lvl.

indigo gives you pristine dreamwalker, pristine ethereals are in revenant vault, higher pristines are in higher dungeon
