Hello players of crystal saga! I just wanted to share some thoughts with all of you. I know some of you might not mind the fact that there's almost 50 servers out now. (48 to be exact)
Then again, it has a lot of us angry. I once played on a server called Kaspaya Beach. It was a great server, with awesome guild wars, and PvP.
But then more new servers came out, and everyone left Kaspaya Beach. It became hard to find people to PvP, and hard to find the items you need.
They tried to fix Kaspaya Beach with a server merge, thanks CS
But that's not good enough sadly. The server loses more and more players every day, and doesn't gain any new players.
Who is gonna look at a server list containing 48 servers, and pick Kaspaya beach? I'll tell you who, nobody. This isn't a stab at Crystal Saga, this is an attempt to bring dead servers back to life, and keep all servers alive and filled with people.
First, the creation of new servers needs to stop happening so often. A new server every 6 months maybe?
Second, server merging. We need lots of servers to be merged. There are lots and lots of "dead" servers. Everyone jumps to the new ones.
Third, you have to give players a reason to stay on the servers they play on. I have no ideas on this one, it's for CS to figure out :P
I really hope we can make this happen, but it won't unless you speak up now. Did your server die? Or are you one of the server jumpers?
