  • The State of CS

So if you ever notice every new r2 game since the release of Dragon Pals and Lunaria Story, has been pretty much been put on a 'higher' level than CS. And yet we are hanging around with the bottom of the barrel games like BR and Castlot. (Though I would never understand why Castlot is beneath is BR even though they still get game content occasionally.) Anyways, are we ever gonna catch up with the 'other' CS versions or are we gonna be deliberately slog along. Would like to hear some input from R2 people..

I am wondering why you think that we are "slogging along" and that we are bottom of the barrel? We have actually been receiving game updates frequently. If you just look at all the new systems that we have gotten in the last few months. The games that you mentioned are not doing well. If CS was not doing well we would receive like no game updates at all, and they would be merging servers like crazy. And NOT opening new servers EVER! But that is not the case here. CS is still a big money maker for R2. And they release things either when they see fit or when they get the codes from the Game makers. If there is something that you would like released, put it in the suggestions forum and try to get support so that R2 can either request the codes, or if they already have them, they can know that we want them sooner rather than later.

Granted there are 2 other(English) CS version and yeah i understand they are different but yet the same. I don't see why we can't be on par with them. I've asked many of times for some stuff that others have in Suggestion. Typical answer is usually a zero acknowledgement. The only reason i ask is if we've been "abandon" is if we were still a cornerstone of r2 business shouldn't we be near the top of the forum instead of near the bottom. Financially, IMO CS is probably way more profitable then some of the newer games though.

The r2games game is working on the game as they can, new content is released when available and functional , as are new servers and merges as well. Realistically this version of the game has been released under r2games for just over 2 years and the amount of content they have added is massive so if you don't think they are moving fast enough , come back in a few months and you might be surprised. :P

We have gone through a discussion similar to this before. I forget which Moderator specified it, however, s/he stated that we obtain the codes required to be inputted into the game by the original developers of the game - in other words, they provide US what they want to provide us. When they want to do it, entirely up to them. As stated before, Reality Squared Games merely hosts the game.
