  • Priest Eidolon skill, no effect

    The priests eidolon heal appears to be bugged. I just tried to use it and there was no effect after 5 attempts. Besides the fact that it does not appear to work it is far too slow to be of any use. Almost any target will be dead before ever casting this heal.

    Yeah, the casting of this skill should be removed for it to be able to have some practical use. I mean, look at other classes' eidolon skills, everyone gets an invulnerable skill of some sort. And we priests are stuck with a 10s cast heal? Either remove the cast, or remove the cooldown so that we can keep it up permanently in pve.

      Figured out the problem, the heal occurs DURING the cast time. i was watching for the effects after casting.

            meh. most of the eidolon skills sucks. the knight's vampire skill makes for excellent tanking but using that gets a crappy low damage skill for eidolon. 14% at the first level, 16% and so on. i predict knights to be 24% by skill level 6. which to me seems like a waste. thats 1 extra attack per 4 hits (in 4 seconds) at maxed if my prediction is correct...taking skill level 1 seems like 1 extra hit for the entire duration of the skill. shield of thorns will deal more damage than this skill by max skill levels most likely -.- i think eidolon skills themselves need to be revamped so they are actually useful. knights invulerable skill is nice, but less useful for a real tank because attack reduction = less threat for holding aggro.

              Attack reduction is only 5% at max lvl for knight's invulnerable, and at the stage where your patk comes a lot from fixed source like wings/soul/gem, then 5% reduction won't be that much, may be only around 400-500 patk for an average knight only.

                  actually it is 10%. which can mean the difference between a dps and a tank doing the tanking. i fear you've never been to level 51+ ladders...

                  -edit- on a side note, this skill right now seems most suited for pvp while the fight on skill is still completely useless as its better to just up attack speed and use the extra points on something worth more.

                    Sorry, been to lvl 60 CL, but mostly without a knight in my pt so I'm not sure how much difference could 500-1000 patk make, especially when you draw aggro mainly through wave, which is based on pdef. Unless the invulnerable skill causes bosses to stop attacking you and switch target, I don't think having those extra few seconds of invulnerable while lower patk a bit can hurt your tanking ability THAT MUCH o.o

                            My bad.. Confused Death Comet with Bloody Acres, I meant was the skill Bloody Acres >< How ever Death Comet is still bugged ^.^

                              I was thinking of getting Bloody Arces because of the nice long root effect, but if that skill is "working as intended" then I guess I had better keep my scion buff...

                              Just why R2? Why are all our eidolon skills so weak compared to other classes? ><
