We figured out what happened! My char got hacked/deleted by galahallt, probably because i didnt follow him like a puppy.
But his chars got banned so at least the people from the merge cant complain anymore.
As for my character ; he deleted it and made a new one at the same account so apparently the data got erased than. They are looking into it now thanks to Memorylane

Well thats not sure yet cause when he created a new Tinkerbell at the same account my old data got erased.
And apparently before he left he deleted Aeka's perfect frag V/ sperion and Gen 3 Dk aswell

To refute the argument given byt he r2 support staff - you can get hacked. The main problem is unless the passwords you are using are super simple or compiled under 8 letters, it would take a lot of hacking power to figure it out unless you were phished or some how the hacker managed to access your computer remotely and insert a keylogger. Or, he or she, whoever Galla was, managed to find a backdoor in the website of r2 itself and managed to access secured files. In this situation, r2 would be responsible for not securing their own network. Though I wouldn't be surprised if there are loopholes with all the servers they have to manage.

Not that I'm bashing or anything. I just think the site itself should tighten security. The fact that a major hacker was able to sit in the game and do all of that bullying for who knows whatever reason without being noticed or skimmed over by whoever managed the security is a very, very bad thing. :/

tinkerbell, how did r2 tracked that it was galahalt who deleted ur toon and aeka's frag and pet? just curious.. the issue abt gala has done a lot of clamor in most of the servers.

IF she is telling the truth, but there is no way we can know for sure this. What evidence there is that she was, indeed, hacked, as she claims? R2 did the check, and as they stated, some other IP was on her account. As far as they know (or care), she shared her account with someoane else, and this makes her responsable of her lost account, not R2.

What's to say she didn't go over to a friends house or a relatives and played the game from THEIR computer/internet connection? That would make another IP address appear BUT does not mean she gave out her account info.

If she used someoane else computer or someoane sent her a keylogger via skype, or if she logged with her username on unsafe site etc etc, all this makes her responsable of her lost account. R2 would be at fault only if the account was deleted thanks to a bug, or a game error or a mistake coming from their part. Of course, if R2 would have nice guys, they will restore her account. But looking from a different point of view, i'm sure there are many players who share their info and when things get wrong they are demanding help. Thats not too fair either.

Correct. From what i've heared galahallt payed a huge amount of money to delete a couple of accounts. including maxing his three characters. and then he got bored from the game so he charged all his money back and in return r2games deleted all of his account. and he had had problems with CEO jared so he promised he'd come back and ruin thier game. and apparently thats what he did earlier. he spawned huge amount of items in many servers and reset alot of accounts to level one by messing with r2games secured files. i think r2games should update thier security before this gets worse.

He posted some of his skype convos with R2. He had some special deals with them which included a ton of free items just like +15 legendary gear and everything else maxed, suits AND the deletion of people who bothered him.

So yes, according to the screenshots, R2 did delete other players for him because they bothered him and R2 didn't want him to stop spending. Then R2 claimed that they can't restore those characters.

After Galahalt charged his money back or whatever he did, R2 deleted his toons, but somehow he got access to the server files, being able to delete toons / replace them with lvl 1 toons and to spawn items as he pleases.

So R2 must have given him access or he was a hacker. Anyway, R2 is a pretty corrupted company according to the screenshots.
