"Freedom of speech does not apply here?" Get over yourself R2. Its a human right to free speech. .Its in the constitution. Are you really trying to deny people a right that has been in place for centuries? I am calling for some legal advice, because you are not permitted to do any such thing.

Thats right, I made no accusation on here, false or otherwise. I simply asked if we were being denied a simple right that is in our constitution. Orphen20, maybe you do not have as much knowledge of the law as I do, seeing as I am currently taking my 2nd year of Law and Legal Practice in school and you seem to be trying to do nothing more aside from provoking people and throwing your own accusations around. READ the ToS, and tell me where I did not follow them.

Freedom of Speech, as outlined in the First Amendment, only applies to restrictions on speech imposed by the government. A private party, such as R2, has every right to restrict what is said on its forums. R2 is not a government entity, therefore the First Amendment doesn't apply.
However, that doesn't make R2's actions in the past few days right. Instead of complaining on the forums, make a statement with your wallet. Cancel your VIPs and then file a ticket as to exactly why you did (forum censorship headed off by ShadowGammaDraco). I did it on all of my accounts.

2. There will be no discussion based on a national, political, religious, sexual or ethnic nature. Please stay on topic.
in Real life yes you can use offensive language etc and politics to speak, here no. that has nothing to do with the game. and you only have the right to Free speech as long as your rights do not infringe upon those of others even in real life. i can dance and sing like a crazy hobo down the street flailing my arms because I am Free and have that right, until someone walks down the same side walk as me, do i have to stop swinging my arms? no. but they equally have rights to be protected from my hands smacking them, and since they have the right to be on public property, they can be where ever they want. but if that arm was to smack them as walking by, my arm would be responsible for infringing on anothers freedom and causing them harm, not because they didn't get out of the way when stampeding like a elephant bulldozing them down to the ground. again, that is in real life, this is a Private service where you agreed to conditions for using this service.
in this case, those other threads are infringing on the community and are False reports just to incite people to anger etc etc etc, so there are infringing on everyone else's privileges of being able to enjoy the game or seek help. so the privileges those people had to speak were removed as should be.
5. Powerposting, spamming, bumping, and flaming will result in the post being removed without any further notice.
anyone who can't accept this will have their privileges removed until you can properly handle yourself in the communityLast edited by ShadowGammaDraco; 03-24-2013, 03:44 PM.
