Please help Joyo GMs

The log information was not sent because we never made it to the stage of getting the npc in. We were expecting to get the npc in the game AFTER the maintenance. The game, so far, has not been able to be logged in by Anyone to attempt to even connect the data. It's not that the information was refused we just have not been able to get in to make the connection. I was told by a (joyo) gm that they asked R2 if the joyo players could log in with the account information that joyo has already such as the bound emails. The response from R2 was no.

As this thread is 12 pages long I wont be doing all responses in one post. Instead I'll make a post every little bit to help ease the congestion of reading a massive response.

First I want to say that this thread is really touching. I, and I'm sure I can speak for all joyo players on this, am very greatful for your concern, consideration and desire to have us come over. We are excited to meet all of you as well and were hoping to already be in game with you. ^.^

I saw this post that someone did, Response #15 in this thread. They quoted someone from the joyopark forums and said the person they were quoting was a mod. The original poster is not a mod. However, take what they did say with your own discretion.

I have spoken to someone on the R2 side. I have been informed that the techs are still working on the issue. The servers came back up with the issue unresolved because it would not be reasonable to leave them down, but they are still trying to get the login data restored.

Please continue to be patient. I'm not going to ask for hourly updates, but I will ask periodically and I will post them in this thread.

I appreciate hearing that they are still working on it. The last I had spoken with a gm on our side it sounded as though all the possibilities that had been discussed were dismissed. Which is why the post about the merge being canceled was made. I am awaiting for the joyo gms to get on to see if there has been any development since I have last spoken to the (joyo) gms. I do want to say that I did try to personally contact the gms through the forums here on May 14th to not only introduce myself but to try to talk about solutions. Do any of your gms here speak English? The gms from joyo said that where they all speak Chinese to each other he was unsure of whether the gms here on R2 spoke English.

Also what is the best way to get ahold of mods/gms here? I use a chat program to speak with the gms from Joyopark and I was not sure if you guys use a similar method.

No.. When the npc is used to link the character to a new account on the R2 platform, it's suppose to create the log in details for that character. This is where the problem is- the information didn't send as it was suppose to.

Rolling back the data will only affect game data, which is separate from log in data. Since the characters have already been disconnected from their joyopark accounts, there is no way to roll that back.

I am not quite sure what information I can respond to with this and what I cant so I'll choose my word wisely based off of what the gms have said here previously.

The order of operations that was meant to happen here at joyo was this:
1. Server shuts down for maintenance May 13th at 23:00.
2. Server is down for 3-4 hours for maint
3. Server comes back up with npc in game to link accounts
4. Once accounts were linked players at joyo were meant to be able to go to www.r2games.com and log in immediately into their new server.

However, what happened is this:
1. Both servers shut down for maintenance May 13th at 23:00
A. Joyo server is continued to be in maintenance mode
B. R2 goes back up with unresolved status after several hours.
A I. Joyo can't log in to do anything but post on forums.
B I. R2 players are playing and seeing our characters there.

What we are missing is the link to log into the accounts that are already in R2's databases. It is the link that needs to be made to get this issue resolved.

Several methods to get this link have been discussed with no agreement upon a solution.

first of all please excuse the gamer tag here. This was just meant to be a temporary account to look at forums while waiting for the merge. I wanted to save my real tags for my real accounts. This is (s5)rattissia or (j5)rattissia as i'd be known in game here. Or moderator meisha on the forums.

I have not read the threads here yet-i will soon but i just read about 35 pages of posts on the forums there and my eyes feel like they're going to bug out of my head. Lol. I did want to post that i am here and (will be soon) looking at the posts here.

To those of you from the other forums its a pleasure to see you here and to those that i don't know yet i'm sure it'll be an honor to meet you too.

That's sort of common knowledge, but thank you. I like easy ways to explain things, so I'll be stealing that screenshot.

Regardless of what you see posted by other people, please continue to be patient while I wait for an update or for an R2 GM/Admin to provide the update directly.

I think when they get on and look at all the ideas posted on both forums, they are going to... *smacks forehead* "I can't believe how obvious and simple this was... Shows lack of sleep can really mess with your ability to think. Alright, good to go."

Maybe it's just me being optimistic for the first time ever though. lol

i dont know how simple it would be but doing it manually is a solution. tickets 1 by 1 link characters to account manually. titanic job but i think it would do it

Because we only have 1 GM on Joyo, and he is asleep. Our mods are doing what they can, but they really don't know what kind of efforts R2 is making on working on this since they aren't involved with R2s GMs.

No updates yet. Probably won't have a real update for the next few hours when the day shift gets into the office. You've all already heard the "working on it" line, so I don't want to be annoying with it.
