Thank you for that link, Trixy. Seems the issue is only affecting some EU players and some EU servers across the platform, so Trixy's link makes sense.

It cannot be ISP, considering we all have different ones, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is having no problem in the area

It might not be your ISP directly. It could be one of the hops your connection makes between you and the game happens to travel through the service area that is having issues, which would explain why you can get to the character selection screen but it isn't loading.
