Well look at it this way you can get a Firelord with 1 egg , or maybe it takes 200 eggs , its random , its part of the game , If you would like r2 to change something write a Thread under Suggestions and gather some player support. I have seen more than a few auguric frag X at +13 to +16, so maybe you just have bad luck :3

True, the percent chance given is incorrect, but it has yet to stop me from getting a perf frag IX fairly quickly.

You should look into an enchantment process, to increase your chances of getting a successful enchantment.
To help you out, I suppose I can share how I enchant, and it's a shame no one has shared a way for you to properly enchant your equipment.

    1) Fail to enchant purgatory gear (or higher) with 1 magic dust 50+ times.
    2) Make sure step 2 is done before reset, approximately 5 minutes prior.
    3) Relog.
    4) Depending on what instance you're on, move to crag stone, and move to an instance 2 levels below yours.
    5) If step 4 doesn't apply, then switch to L5, relog again, and repeat step 4.
    6) Place your frag in the enchantment block, and click auto. Make sure to check that you have your dragon crystals in your bag.
    7) After clicking auto, wait ten seconds, and switch to another instance, 1 level above your own.
    8) Wait another ten seconds, and click enchant. Keep clicking enchant in five second intervals, until you get the enchantment level you need.

Of course this is just what I do, and it's worked well so far.
I've created many perfect frags and higher with this enchantment process. Of course it hasn't always worked, but it's the best
enchantment process that I have used. Took me about 60 platinum to create this way to enchant frags, but it helps others, which is good.
This set of instructions is ONLY for enchanting frags to +11, and will cost about 80-120 dragon crystals, depending on your luck.
Beyond +11 is a little more complex. I hope I helped.

yeah well if its "random" perhaps r2 could have the decency to put "random % chance to succeed" in the enchantment interface so that we dont feel screwed every time we fail 5 times in a row with 70-80% chance for success. if you ask me thats false advertising considering dragon crystals are a shop item as well. never should money be spent on upgrading when u in fact are downgrading.

and if i wanted to gamble with my money, i would go to a casino...

Rome was not built in a day , neither are OP toons , the success rate is more or less random you just have to be patient , persistent , and keep trying. Pretty much this game was intended to be played for a very long time , just keep at it and hope for good luck

Yeah, I doubt DC drop rate will be increased either. It still isn't unreasonable to ask for, just I doubt it will be done.

the problem is thta so many players have "hand me down" toons that they are able to get a zillion dc's in a day so increasing drop rate is out of the question. as far as displaying the correct value, R2 will argue that the #s are correct. even tho 18 months of experience on the matter and hundreds of people in the same boat as me would suggest otherwise. this will undoubtedly be just another overlooked problem in the game that will be lucky to get an official response let alone an adjustment.

and just to update im now up to 10 clicks with 70-80% chance for success and only got to +6. 60 dc from +8 to +6. thats $120 worth of dc. but the system works just fine.

in fact it took me over 2 months just to get from perfect frag 4 up to 5, when i see several other players go from perfect 1 up to 10 in 1 week.
this cant be merely bad luck when most people have the same problem, and if u do some research youll find that even with 50%< chance people are failing more than succeeding.
Quoted a few relevant lines from the 1st post to show what the main issue is, not just ranting about it being "to hard". As for learning to enchant properly, you can say people need to however much you like, but given that there are hundreds of different methods out there, some of which are absurdly particular (such as having to stand in one particular spot, then relog on a specific L at a specific time) there is no way to know which ones actually work. Given that most of them say they don't work 100% of the time not even testing will show you without wasting tons of enchanting materials (DC in this case, since the thread is mostly about enchanting frags).

The only requests for a code change in this entire thread has been for R2 to make the displayed chance of success accurate, or to increase the DC drop rate. The first is not only entirely reasonable, but something that should be in already. The second is a request, and given how bad the drop rate gets (I personally get 2-3 DC per day from all my dungeon runs combined on average) it isn't a bad one either.

neither does failing over 5k mecs with various "enchanting techniques" on a hat in trying to get to +14
face it, their enchant system has broken rng and attempts to abuse it are not successful for everyone just because you managed to find a way that works most of the time for yourself

Picture don't lie sir/madam. R2 won't change their code because something is too hard for some players.
Best to just conform and learn to enchant properly.

Lol I stopped at perfect frag 1 +11 and I'm good. I hope it's easier for one to get X for the 20% attack speed and a bestow skills like zealot shield. And many more~~
