she went offline right after this, and has stayed off line, not an accidental DC

write a ticket here http://support.r2games.com and provide these screen shots , someone will take a look at it and see what action needs to be taken.
Also when trying to buy like this check to see if the player has any cash items , if they do not probably a bad idea to try and buy from them. Just be careful and use common sense.
