    everybody know Dots & Hot's right ? (Damge over time, like posion), ( Heal over time, like Holy Light from Priest)

    why.. why are this skills so **** ?
    every other skills are based on Patk/Matk in %.
    and nearly ALL Dot / Hot is fixed.

    for example. Holy Light lvl 1. heal you every 2 sec 90HP 6 times.
    90 HP ? lvl 20+ have already 3k+ and later you have 100k+++ HP. what will help you this 90 hp ea 2 sec ?
    or the lvl 50 skill, the "better" holy light, heal you 400 hp WOW... i have now a Priester. soul 0. only white EQ and 13k hp with no stats in endure.
    13k hp ? and my new skill heal me 400 hp every 2 sec ? thats nothing !

    the same for the Dot's skills.
    lvl 30 dot skill (from rouge) do 190 dmg every 3 sec. norm hits are ? 2k ? in 3 sec.. you do 20k or so ? so the 190 from your dot you dont realy see in effect.


    so i asking WHY! are skills like that not the same like ALL OTHER Skills getting better/stronger? or lets say based on Patk / matk / healing or what ever.

    why are this skills ( maybe some other too) are fixed ? and dont getting stronger if you getting stronger ?


    For exemple. if you say "dots /hot" must be fix than WHY?!?! is the Dot skill ( the circel Dot's from Priester) based in % ? so getting stronger if you getting stronger but all other Dot / Hot are not ?
    is there something spezial about the skills why this get better and other not ?

    Not all DoTs/hoTs are fixed.... thats why im so confused and dont understand the skills.
    or are the skill just to fill up the skill tree that its looks like you have "many" skills ? but 50% are **** and cant realy be used / have any effect if your lvl 30+ ?

    +1. All skills were made in-game at the start. Since then we got lv80, lv100, scion, eidolon: toons grow, yet the DoT/HoT remained the same. Many of these skills are obsolete (actually all of them) unless the damage that is done upon hit is worthy enough of it.

    Suggestion?
    Make them %-based:
    - HoT being %-based on the caster's total HP.
    - DoT being %-based on the caster's attack (or HP-based for a "bleed" effect). Seems only logical.

      Wish they would eventually listen this. Only useful DoT skill that comes in to my mind is Mage's Balrog's Hell...

        +1 big reason why rogues who go on combat path are looked down upon (at least compared to shadow rogues). It's because in any type of place where hp, attack etc. (seng, delivery) their dot is super weak compared to even a normal attack.

          yeah, the HOTs suck :/

          % would be better. I don't care if it's based on caster's hp, caster's healing, or target's hp.
          Personally, it should be based on caster's healing since ,well, it's the healing stat and it's for a healing skill.
          In most games I've played, using a HOT does more heal than a straight heal, but of course that's for the totality of the HOT.
          So, since light heal does 187% at lvl 5, I think a lvl 5 Holy Light should do 35% healing stat (35% * 6 HOT = 210%)

          And since grace lvl 1 does 233% at lvl 1, I think a lvl 1 Improved Holy Light should do 40% healing stat.

          So it'd be something like this:
          Holy Light lvl 1: 27%
          lvl 2: 29%
          lvl 3: 31%
          lvl 4: 33%
          lvl 5: 35%

          Improved Holy Light:
          Lvl 1: 40%
          Lvl 2: 43%
          Lvl 3: 46%
          Lvl 4: 49%
          Lvl 5: 52%

          This makes the most sense because it follow HOT conventions and it gives that dreaded question: Would I prefer to have more heals, but it's over time, or would I rather do a massive, but weaker heal, right now?

          It adds a strategic component to healing.

            Well, I made an account on a chinese server. People do have 4-7mil hp, 500k atk and what not.
            However, the DoT and HoT are the same as we have.

            Guess no chance to change that :|

              Not really, R2 is allowed to change the skills for balancing purpose if they want. Holy Light isn't useless in chinese version of the game because it has 15% dmg reduction at lvl 5, yet R2 removed it in this version, makes it a useless skill. I haven't checked rogue's DoT skills over there though.

                ... dot/hot skills are useless if you look at a priest the damage you deal with curses isnt to big compared to other aoe's and its only mostly used for the debuffs it gives and the hot for a priest holy light and imp holy light just a waste of 2 points just to get to cirlce of healing, CoH because grace ist usefull at all jsut waste of time casting that thing, when you can just cast 2x light heal and get more heal off it instead of 1 heal from grace and you might get 1 hit of between heals with light heal to.. so basically you deal some damage and more heal by using light heal ( a level 1 skill better then a level 70 one really gj on that one when they worked on it.. no offence but its true ask any priest >.> )... as for rogue DOT's they also suck, they dont do any real damage that will help you in battle just suck's up 1 skill point so you can get to the next skills after it.

                  Every other version of this game is amazing compared to R2 version , they have cut so much out of this game and its so far behind in development than the others that its totally **.

                    so what now ?
                    nobody interessting, no changs. still 50% of all class / skill will not be userable and ea class will be to 99% same skilled / same build ?
