Sengolia is extremely unbalanced with the current systems. People bring their alts into Sengolia in order to farm honor and badges, taking up valuable spots in the process. Guild politics take over as players sit down in order to help their guild members. All the strong players get onto one team because of the timing based team assignment. Weaker players can be extorted by high power characters camping the spawn point. Lower level players are vaporized by the AOEs of even a Knight. Mallers crystal respawn to push a win that wasn't deserved. Sengolia has become less of a battleground and more of a political slaughter.

There are so many ways to improve upon how Sengolia is conducted in order to address the large amount of problems present at the moment.
    These are my thoughts:

    a. Dealing with players that go AFK
Why do people AFK in Sengolia? To get rewards of course.
In order to deal with the AFK problem, we need to take that away from them.
A simple fix to this would be to reward the active and not the inactive.
I propose an achievement based reward system that would be organized similarly to this:

    10 kills = 5 bronze, 1 silver, 25 honor
    20 kills = 5 bronze, 1 silver, 25 honor
    30 kills = 5 bronze, 1 silver, 25 honor
    40 kills = 5 bronze, 1 silver, 25 honor
    taking a tower = 10 bronze, 2 silver, 50 honor

The winning team will have their rewards doubled, the losing team gains normal rewards. In order to prevent farming, a tie should yield absolutely no rewards for either team.

    b. Truly Random Team Assignment
The timing based system of assigning teams creates a massive imbalance of power between teams.
An easy fix to this would be a toggle system.
Each successive person to join would be placed on a team in an alternating pattern. Spirit, Demon, Spirit, Demon etc.
This would add an incredible amount of balance to Sengolia.

    c. Non-Combat Spawn points
If combat were to be disabled in the area around the spawn point, spawn camping would cease.

    d. Disabling Crystal Revive
Are we supposed to be fighting humans, or a horde of undying zombies?
Recently I witnessed two very high level, very high spending players, using crystal revives like candy at the Spirit team's crystal.
The Demon team was severely outnumbered and outplayed, yet these undying characters being the only one's making it through the front line, won. All of this because they have a thick wallet.
In my opinion events should be immune to game-breaking situations such as this one.
That is why I propose that crystal reviving be disabled during Sengolia.

    e. Damage Weighted Kills
How many times have you done the majority of the damage to your opponent only to have some cheeky ranger steal your kill from afar?
This can get infuriating, especially if it happens multiple times in a row.
My suggestion is to have kills be damage weighted. Whoever does the most damage to the enemy in question is credited with the kill.

    f. Having Separate Instances For Level Tiers
You can't very well have balance in a game if there are multitudes of people that can kill you in one hit.
This is exactly what happens to the lower level players in Sengolia when they come up against a high lvl player or scion.
I suggest splitting Sengolia into level and plane based instances.

    example:
    30-50
    51-80
    scion 30-50
    scion 51-80

This would increase balance drastically and give lower level players an easier learning curve.

    g. Team Chat
For Sengolia to become truly competitive I believe that a proper means of communication is necessary.
I suggest that each team have a chat that only it's members can access.
This would allow for ease in organizing strategies, changing how Sengolia is conducted, and adding an entirely new layer of complexity and potential enjoyment to the event.

Note: You can pick more than one suggestion on the poll

Just curious, you have that kind of stats, does the enemy in ladder have the same stats like in CS ? or they're like 100000x more powerful or something ?

Sengolia has been in need of an update for a long time. However, updating it will take away the power of the Mega Cashers (or Whales, as the CEO of R2 Games refers to them) and perhaps reduce their incentive to be Mega Cashers.

If R2 games does not believe it will be able to monetize a change, the change will not be implemented. Sengolia will remain forever broken.

Sengolia Battleground is not fun anymore

hello people im here to give some of my opinion/suggestion about sengolia

as we all know most in every servers seng end way too fast and by fast i mean less than 10mins and that sucks no fun at all
so heres the things id like to see

the renew and improvement of seng towers
    weakness of towers
-low health/defense which is why they are so much easy to be broken
-they are supposed to be way a lot more offensive instead of tickling people for 1 damage
    my suggestion
    -increase their health/defense/attack power
-add one requirement to break the crystal tower which is all towers must be taken down first before the crystal tower

finally id like to see a separate sengolia battlegrounds between mortal plane and scion/eidolon that is causing an unfairly weighted battle to mortals

    sorry for my bad english

can't agree more, I myself have grown tired comparing versions, but it's just sad to see that this version seems to have the most player but the worst content of all. Great marketing and manipulation i guess, it was very nice in the beginning, but now it's just suck, they're only giving out extremely little of cash items in game and even cashing doesn't give you as much... the Point of interest feature is just wasted like that.

you don't even need to look further to other version. How about this, same version, different hosting company. http://forum.now2play.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=29

    Check out the promo there.

Sorry to have gone off-topic, but i have to agree with Seng, and from what I saw in other version (yet again) , in CL one way (or actually the only way to get it back then, not sure about now) to get diamond badges to make the lvl 100 pvp set, you need to kill certain amount of people to get max of 2 diamond badges per seng. Not sure how they're going to play it out here, but it's safe to say it's going to be extremely hard to get, because of the abuse and exploit happening in seng...

I would have to agree with this thread. R2 needs to make the game more spicy. It's no fun anymore. Everything has become to hard to achieve, or nearly impossible unless you pay 100's of dollars. With your new updates; bound gmuts, sperion, lvl caps, Frag upgrades. Don't get me wrong it's awesome, but it holds us back and makes it a chore to play this game instead of a fun experience. Lets be honest, half the people on this game barely cash, yet most of your 'new updates' are 'casher' related. I mean, there are kids that play this game, and sometimes 'mommy and daddy' charge for them, but if the game gets too hard for them, they are going to stop asking 'mommy and daddy' to recharge for them. And then what? They get bored. SO yes, fixing seng to make it last longer is ONE of the many ways you can make CS more fun; Just Do It, Nike.

I completely agree. There's a lot of things R2 needs to change, fix, and expand on, but sengolia is definitely one that could use some immediate attention.

Most other games I've ever played, or am playing, the bonus system for having recharged is ten to twenty times better. It's one of the biggest reasons I don't really recharge often in this particular game. There's no bang for your buck. That and r2 treats their games like a red-headed step childern when it comes to how they run on an average basis. I find it sad that I can run around Saga of Hero, on L1, with players turned on and at max capacity to show on screen, and experience no lag what so ever.. yet you get 5 people on L1 here in Crystal Saga with people turned down to minimum and it takes a moment or two to actually move... yet I'm told it's my computer. *rolls eyes*

Ok Hemming not only does Saga of Hero's have limits in Seng, but they also don't take the buffs away that the sperion gear or your weapon gives. Also the rechare bonuses are much much better.

For 6.99 you could possible get $30 worth of crystals for instance. The 6.99 pack gives you:

Then just for recharging you also get:

So as much as I love CS and all the people that play. The urge to spend is just not there since the rewards are so weak! R2 has taken the game and put so many filters in it to debuff characters it makes it hard for anyone to do anything. I mean seriously a kirin with better stats then the nix..... Just doesn't make sense at all....
