  • Gauntlet rebalance

    gauntlet has got to the stage where it is a joke for any guild with more than 2 half decent players (around 2 mil plus), or who can get a decent turn out (10+) which should be the aim of all guilds. To people who are going to come saying donate more, it isn't a realistic solution any more, to keep hp in line with player improvements guilds would have to be full of players donating over a billion gold every week.

    Although there are several ways they could help fix this (a new difficulty level, more wolves, adding a 4th lane) I think the easiest way is a re-balance of the hp of the mobs, my suggestion would be as follows:

    Normal: stays the same. fills the same roll as now of giving guilds on new servers a place to get used to gauntlet.

    Nightmare: hp inbetween current nightmare and purgatory levels. becomes a stepping stone for guilds that are about 1-3 months old.

    Purgatory: gets same hp as hell currently has. for guilds that are 3+ months old/guilds that want to keep the same rewards as they currently get and are worried about going against a harder gauntlet.

    Hell: big hp increase, (very minimum 2x, preferably 3x-4x current hp). should need at least 5 players for even the very top guilds to finish, but still be possible for any decent guild that has been around for a while and got 10-15 players turning up.



    If this is implemented it keeps all happy, those who want to keep gauntlet the same have the option of getting the same rewards as before, those who want a challenge or get high turn outs don't get punished for it any longer.

    Yes I agree, gauntlet does need a rebalance. It's kinda easy for those guilds that have 3-5 players having 2million plus br, and stay in each line in gauntlet. And to be fair to those avegare and below average players that can't 1 hit the wolves, at least put some more wolves. Because in my guild now, no wolves can across in the middle in each line, and cleared the stage above 1 minute time.

    So please try to consider this suggestion, it would be fair to all. TIA

      i third this notion. either more dragons or make a tougher level. my guild not too long ago cleared it with ease with only 7 people.

        ^ If my guild has at least 4-5 strong players attending Gauntlet we could clear it.

          on my server we have over 10 ppl who can easy solo a lane in hell guanlet we even started getting ppl who can 1 shot drakes (me ) so gantlet becomes thing tedious 1/2H of hell for 20mil gold cuz takes less than 1 min (about 50 sec if only 3 ppl turn up less than 30 sec when all 8 actives show up) to clear drkaes then sit there for a bit for wave 1 which all of us can 1 shot wolves so unless tyc i i taken to come in 1 shot drakes then watch TV cuz 20mil gold for the lane afk ant worth otherwise... u can 2 man hell gantlet with me+ 1 of 4 other members in my guild (if did 2 man at least we would then have to walk to next lane to kill as well so do somet other than stand at start semi afk)

            4x more hp that never going hapen they want peoples cash not to can get easy tycon
            1st place get around 50 mil gold with actualy hp, to an get 200 mild for each gauntled is to op,that means 3 gantled and ding 60k in tycon
            i want also hp /mobs increase but dunno if will eb hapen to soon

              could rework formula to giv only 1.5x-2x the gold but 4x hp

                interesting how you people say someone can solo a lane by themselves, I attempt this every gauntlet but with pace that the mobs come out and the cd after killing each mob (without any delay after cd ends) its 100% impossible to solo every mob in a single lane by oneself.

                Also this would be no good for guilds that have low participation rate, would really screw them for events like tycoon.

                  i solo top b4 and killed them all its uber close and need to b quick but u got an entire second spare between the cd to do it

                    so bot and mid lanes have longer to travel? I dont waste even a fraction of a second at top but if I dont have someone cover one of the smalls I can never get final, always have 1 sec left and it hits. I figured other paths were the same but seems not....interesting. Maybe i should switch to bot path lol

                      normal days we have less participation in gaunlet ( i don't too most of the time ) .. and I can clear a lane myself .. and we have like 6-7 player who can do that and other 5-6 who can kill everything untill last 3 -4 rounds ..
                      Now during tycoon most of them come online (lets say 10) .. what should one do sharing works upto a limit .. cause there are uneven players in each lane .. so easiest way i think is more wolfs ..

                        lets say the truth . we aint care of how hard the gauntlet actually is we just to get more gold and honor out of it . on the note i doubt anything will change same as the other "perma" events : WB , quiz , TA , arena and so on . u got the point

                            what i ment is that the reward did stay the same for WB didn`t matter how "strong" it got . same will happen with Gauntlet even if and i mean if they increase the difficulty somehow probably the income will be tweaked to remain the same
