  • A more difficult Gauntlet asking

    Hello

    Since some months, my guildies are bored by the gauntlet in hell difficulties.
    We kill every wolves, even our alt char and we must set the number of kills to have a fair amount of damage for each.

    So i would like to proposing some improvements :

    - 4 paths instead of 3 ;
    - more wolves ( 6 or more instead of 5) ;
    - a reduced CD when killed ;
    - a color signal indicating the power of the foes ( purple : easy ; red : medium ; yellow : hard).

    Our guild member are seeking the thrill of a new challenge like before and having the happyness when we can save the angel.

    Well i think gaunt should need to remake similar to demonic war, but instead 1 boss with unlimited hp, and we just attack with in the time limit to get max dmg. So all guild can get something, and all has same chance. Not like no, its best to form like 3 player guilds to get max out of gaunt, and not step on not so stronger guildies.

      OMG mand who are you? : )))) you never like our ideas, you never say that its good about anything? it is some players idea and plz respect some of our ideas or dont say anything

        I say my opinion, same as any other, to listen to them or not each personal choice. But even if make more paths or rounds per wace, the stronger people will only benefit. And generaly it be same situation like now So to actually improve 1 boss and time limit to hit , to get max dmg is fair way to whole guild, where only each individual strenght matter

          i'm sorry but i"m thinking you're wrong that only 1 boss will be benefit for whole guild members.
          The gauntlet is the event where team work is primordial 'cause no matter you're 30 million Br if you're alone, youwill lose.
          in the other hand, rookies have great benefit to attack even powerfull foes. their attack allow stronger characters to kill the wolves before they reach the angel.

          Also the color code will help for each members to choose their opponents according their BR.

          Also increasing time limit can be a drawback. As you know the event start at 22:30 and finish at 23:00. Increasing the limit can be exhausting for players especially those who need to work tomorrow.

            True, the stronger players kill all the bosses and after that they stand in one of the 3 paths taking all the mobs they can, without care about the other players, at least is like that in my guild
            could be good a new sistem ...

              I do gaunt alone, but alone doesn't mean 1 char only. And you basically need only 2 to finish whole gaunt, with max gold on both without angel being killed. I get both max gold and most possible hits (meaning honour aswell).
              As for teamwork, sure it was, until lvl 60. Then fighting over gold, rules about number of hits and what not come into it, heck even moving to other guild over gaunt occurs.
              Divine War is about teamwork, let's be real here, gauntlet is about the gold, and finally tycoon points.

              How would having one boss be bad, at least after lvl 70 or whatever? They could add another guild teamwork thingy to conpensate (Twilight Clash anyone )

              Stronger characters can probably one-hit wolves by then (Heck, even dragons). As soon as IRB is finished and agility is not messing up, mob gets no rage and never use skills. You should have enough dmg to kill them by that point.
              But sure, nothing against rookies hitting, if anything, they are helping other rookies which is good.

                Thanks everyone for your feed back. It seems that getting an evolve in gauntlet is interesting many.

                But i"m thinking that changing the actual feature of gauntlet to a drastically new one can be dangerous. As you notice in my first post, our guild ask some slight change to recover the challenge we know when we were lesser characters.

                Anyway, a 1-boss 30 minutes could be a great idea especially in guild boss.

                  1 boss should be great but i think gaunlet is good event as it is but we need some strong bots for more gold i think, or more waves. i dont know.

                        Sure I can, but getting max number of hits on the wolves for 250k is what I consider the max gold I can get in gaunt.

                          hello players.

                          I restart the discussion about a gauntlet.
                          With Honda6, my deputy , we have thought that we could have an additionnal feature in gauntlet.
                          This asking is motivated by a problem in my guild where now numerous main and alt are enough powerfull to kill every wolves in hell stage and so we have more and more arguing between them for the share of the kills.
                          This situation bother me and my trusted deputy
                          Beside the 4 regular gauntlet played in Guild, we could have a server gauntlet with the following caracteristics :
                          -5 paths instead 3
                          - same 15 waves
                          - boss dragon with 2x HP

                          The main innovation is that instead having a line of 5 wolves per path. we could have, at every waves, a spread of 15 wolves coming at same times .
                          I'm sure that defending an angel with 75 wolves coming nearly at same time will be a terrific challenge.

                          Don't hesitate to give your opinion and have fun in play

                            ITs sounds fun, but same as demonic, its only good to get the gold, not the challenge it self. Good gold income and tycoon point boost. If it didnt gave points for tycoon, only the ones who would actually need gold would go to gauntlets. But yea changes would be needed, most reasonable would be 1 boss , unlimited hp. Strong boss stats, all guild can attack and do their best.

                              spelling corection

                              One thing is for certain, all players are getting much stronger than ever before. Making many more able to kill the wolfs and werewolves and it has taken away the fun and challenge to the gauntlet Yet the gauntlet has NOT kept up with the added BR of players {which is substantial). The Gauntlet has not changed in 3 years and is now too easy and has become boring for the majority of players. SO a change is needed to keep the event interesting and relieve the tension of guild members, which cause some to leave the game or start new guilds. The gauntlet could be made to be an extremely fun and challenging event once again with some of the changes suggested by gwadafan. AT the very least I hope they will create another gauntlet option harder and more interesting than the Hell option with more rewards to fulfill the needs of large thriving guilds. Those who do not prefer the new more difficult and rewarding option are always free to choose the Hell gauntlet or even a lesser option if they are weaker characters. I will add I think the color coding of wolves with different strengths is a good one. Weaker players will quickly figure out which ones they can kill. And by not spending time in respawn they can make a better rank and score. Also the big dog players will prefer to leave the weaker wolves alone . This will benefit all chars. Come on LOA, get to work on it, this is something that needs to be addressed to keep a more happy and thriving LOA community.
