favorability and force contribution

Hi, I don't really understand what is the "favorability" and the "force contribution" you gain with the quest log ? What is it for ?

Favorability will advance your status in your force book...like from neutral > respect> admiration. You get different titles with higher stats from a higher status...

There is a Force Wheel that costs Force Contribution to spin. I would imagine Favorability is also related to that wheel.
