As nice as this sale is r2 it's made competing impossible for non-cashers. I am or I was the top player on my server for nearly this whole last year in one day I've dropped to the 3rd or 4th top player because of this sale. Still #1 on 5 of the 6 in-game leaderboards that will soon change even though it's been that way for a long time. With everything in my vault and the 160 plat I have (spent 80p on PoW last week so 240 plat) I can no longer compete with people that dropped a few hundred on your game today. Most of them upgraded their tenets and shot passed my stats. So basically what I'm saying is I'm a highly competitive player in every game I play and even though I don't cash I've managed to be the strongest and top ranked player on my server for a year and because this sale it was stripped away in one day. I still had a chance to stay the top player and stay competitive but now I can't, with this sale there's no way to catch up. Surely all the leaderboards will change, like ladder our time was earned through a year of practice now some cashers can solo to 75 cause of this sale and will no doubt wreck our time. Stripped away my ability to compete and my will to continue playing CS. Seriously one day and a years hard work gets flushed down the toilet. There's people (other top players) that I easily could take on ten of them at once in pvp now a few of them I can't even scratch. anyway enough rambling.
I have 3 goals left I set for myself a while back that I will achieve, when they're done I'll never play CS again or another game made by r2. It's been fun and this game shows great promise even at times it reminded me of my all time favorite rpg Final Fantasy 7. R2 you're too focused on profits to realize when you have a good thing going. Game companies that focus more on their community of players than the money in their bank account end up making more money in the long run, because their fans are grateful and they supply a quality product (I.E. RedLynx). Look at Trials it started as an internet flash game and now they're on xbox making hundreds of millions of dollars and have millions of devoted fans all because of their player first community driven attitude.
I've no doubt made you guys hundreds of dollars over the last year just from people trying compete or wanting to pass me in stats. I may not cash but hardcore players like me are vital to your sales. When I quit for good you can be sure your sales on my server will decrease by a lot and I'm happy they will, because you've barely ever showed your community that you deserve their hard earned money... the fact that I could make a pure gen 2 turkey pet right now well enough said. I hope that one day you will stop ignoring us and use us as an asset, but I doubt it because of Jared Psigoda's Speech at last years Game Developers Conference.
