This hurts the newer servers when honor and badges from winning Seng are crucial to character development (though, not as much as it use to be since now there's other ways to get badges and honor).

      This is why my suggestion on Sengolia revamp stated that towers/crystals should take fixed damage like some of the event mobs. That way no matter whether the server is new or old, Seng shouldn't be ended too early because of OP players, nor can't it be finished because the players' damage is too low. Too bad, like many other good suggestions out there, that thread just collected dust, lol.

        • Short Sengolias

          Short sengolias seem to be a common theme in older/merged servers. We often see complaints about difference in levels and breaking up the sengs for different planes. There always seems to be a few people who feel like ending the battleground early, to the detriment of the majority of fellow players. There isn't much some people can do against, for instance, a mage with 30.000 matk (outside of seng), especially with the aoe's they have. With this last weeks event, we also had the warriors pack... which took 10 minutes of being in the battleground before we could accept it.

          While creating more sengolia's and possibly breaking them into different planes may be the best solution, its probably the hardest to achieve. Instead, how about creating a minimum time limit for sengolia to last.
          Either:
          1. Let players attack each other and the towers but don't let attacks damage the crystal for 10 min.
          or
          2. After the crystal is destroyed, let there be a 5-10 min period where people could continue to fight for silvers and honor or leave at their discretion.

          Personally, I think the second option is better since it lets those op players so inclined say "see, this is how fast I can end seng HA HA HA HA"

            • i end sengs when i'm on some teams fast cause there is a priest w 30k matk an other ppl who have 20k atk 50%dmg reduc etc who like to spawn camp in my server. most would rather get it done fast if they are getting farmed. the ones farming them always want it to keep going. sort of a double standard on all sides. would be nice to see a fair seng. but if you split them you get rid of some of the ppl that would have normally helped team up to take those people down in most cases etc.

              • It would be really much work to fix sengolia itself. Breaking sengolia into different planes wouldn't solve the problem - there will always be some op players.
                Maybe they should just make a new pvp event that has similiar rewards like seng but is different in all terms. A balanced sengolia with % skills like tamalan, where no op-ness exists.

                Having ppl wait in waiting rooms like in showdown until both teams have the exact same number of players before it starts.
                Having the skills that can be picked class-specific, like a priest could get healing skills / curses, knights could get dmg reduction skills, whatever.

                I think that would be kinda refreshing.

                  • I like the option #2, about giving us a lil more time to kill after the crystal is destroyed. AOE'rs can spawn kill & get 4 silver fast but for rogues it takes some time. Hate only being able to get 2 Silver Badges a day cause of how fast seng goes. Also it would be nice if they up their processing speed, tired of lagging so bad in seng, that's also a kill decreaser.

                    • Sebastion, I'm glad you agree that creating more sengs would be more work, but that is why I put forth the 2 other options which should be a lot less work and would please the greatest number of consumers.

                      Shadow, I can understand you ending seng so people aren't being farmed at the spawn point. That, however, is a different problem. ( to fix that I'd make the spawn pt a tic area like around the towers with greater damage). What my main concern about seng is it being literally 2 minutes long. Good luck trying to get any honor or silver badges to level up your gear with. Yes, there may be other ways of obtaining both of these, but I have to ask you, why should a few OP players get to ruin it for the majority of others?

                      Sengolia is scheduled for an hour, Its supposed to be a battle ground, so give it the time required to be a battleground. IMO a 2 minute seng is not long enough for people to complain about being farmed at the spawn pts.

                        Hello GM we have an issue on our server with Sengolia Battlegrounds.A bunch of selfish players keep ending it in 2 minutes without us being able to do anything.(One of them is a rogue with a lot of move speed and attack power,he gets xtal to 50% before anyone can move,so dont tell us to defend its not really possible) We never know which seng he goes to so most of the time we end up with a 2-minute seng...i have a few suggestions how to stop this.One : increase the crystal hp by a lot.The rogue doing it can take a xtal out in 1 minute easy if no one touches him...Two:make the crystal like Ultrasaurus Rexes,fixed damage and a load of hp,i say this is the best solution because that way no one will be able to end it so fast,even with a very high attack speed.I hope you look into this issue because im REALLY tired of having a 2-minute seng =.= our server is pve so we cant really do anything to the player doing it..

                            You sir are very correct. This idea (as well) has been suggested countless times (To increase Crystals HP) but can't say anything else except that it REALLY seems like the devs? Doesn't care about their players and are too lazy to change anything?
