another skill that should be changed.. i seriously think this is the reason that blood priests are so rare

cuz its only for 10 seconds, you have to kill them in this 10 second window. and yes even is seng priest get lower stats than other classes. my lvl 55 priest with full savage +6 and dual gems in each item gets about 6600 attack in seng, while lvl 40 rouges and knights and rangers are getting 8-10k and people my lvl even more. its totally unfair and they should make priests better

No it's not because of GE lasting 10s. It is because the knight/mage's skill that removes all your buffs can remove GE together with any other buff you are having on. GE is merely a buff protecting you from other negative statuses, so a dispelling skill like Reckoning of knight works against it >.>

Then why do I lose my buffs after using Goddess' Embrace when fighting against Knight or Mage? + Even tho we can't get negative status ailments under GE so what? We have basically EVERYTHING worse than other classes have so the GE ain't gonna really benefit us enough..

If my friends want to be buffed, it's not hard for them to join my party and then leave when they are done. Either these buffs need to actually be party only, or Battle Hymn needs to be in a radius and affect more than just party members as well.

And as far as Seng goes, the team you're on is your party. I see no probably with your team being buffed.


Also this is NOT our job. We want to play this game just as much as others and just because we chose to be the priest class does not mean we are obligated to follow people around and heal and buff them whenever they ask us too. And I'm saying that nicely. People actually DEMAND that I buff them and try to get me to drop what I am doing to go and buff them. Who's the one being selfish then? I for one am tired of being treated that way, and for that reason I prefer not to hand out free buffs to people, especially ones that are just that rude. Even friends asking for buffs starts to wear at you at some point. As stated, I want to play and do dungeons and quest on my own just as much as any other class. I chose my class and skills based on my play style and what I would need to successfully solo dungeons, not to be a support character. Call me selfish all you want, but your opinion is misguided.

I totally agree with this post, I have friends that keep asking for buff over and over again... so much that it ACTUALLY becomes an obligation to buff them no matter what I'm doing. For example I was in psycho killing bosses in the last chamber, then a guildie request a buff. You tell them 5 more minutes before you're done, then they start complaining that they won't make it in time for avernal. Tell me, how would you feel when you're in this situation?? You took the time to teleport to starglade, used a scroll when u don't have to but for your friend's sake because they cannot enter the area where you're at, and that is the only response you get?? When you refuse to buff when you're annoyed with all these requests then they call you mean?? Even your mum gets to enjoy a Mother's Day, what about us priests that have NO obligation to buff you? No gratitude, a lousy thank you is worthless when you don't appreciate or understand us at all. We are players with emotions like you are too, not NPCs. Worst of all, they make you waste time waiting for them to finish what they are doing when you can actually use that precious time to finish your dungeons. Almost every single day I have to rush my dungeons at the last minute before reset, and most of the time i can't finish them all.

...... Well im kinda off-topic. Yeah totally support the idea priest skill needs some changes, please at the very least lessen the cast time by half. Eidolon skill Sacred Space cast time 10 sec is way too ridiculous. No way they can come into good use during pvp or ladder. Not even as support. Also please make the radius wider if you can.

thats not quite right... you must not have looked at your priests skill list very good. you cant debuff a lvl 70+ priest in any way for 10 seconds in a fight, not even freeze them and by then well youve won already or are seconds from it.

I'm a lvl 70 Eidion Priest, but regret not being a ranger now.

As a Priest user, I fully agree with many of the posts that players make.
I've tested all of a priests skills and know exactly how disadvantaged the middle tree can be.
In response to an earlier post regarding Tenacity's crit dmg reduction, it gives you 10 crit def so supposedly 10 crit def = 4% crit dmg reduced...
useless when considering that players int he long term have well over 200% crit dmg and will therefore contribute to LITTLE hp saved
Also consider how many other classes have crit dmg reduction skill... truly useless
blood flow is decent but DOES NOT COME NEAR the m.atk bonus that circle gives (do note that they do stack but as a priest who often solos, this skill is otherwise useless in comparison)
enhanced circulation is one of the only useful skills in the middle blood tree because of its defense against the OP mage class
I wouldnt mind if they gave us something more than hp regen rate with that...
blood guard gives a fixed bonus to our hp... not as great as % hp tho... not sure if it gets stacked with % modifiers, never took the chance to record hp values
I have mixed feelings about totem... similar to rogue stealth you unstealth when attacking
you unfortunately unstealth when hit by AoE OR if youre in the middle of being attacked as the stealth buff occurs
it also does not affect party
not very useful in pvp and ladder when youre constantly attacking and moving and healing
not useful in pve either when you want to be attacking or healing... really what point is this skill in relation to a priest if you cant attack while stealthed
demon's grasp as many have mentioned, is the crappy CD and the fact that it is a channel skill... great for ladder otherwise...
sacrifice as others have mentioned is the weak bonus attack

death cometh has had a track record of problems since day one and even now its still missing the dmg reduction that is sought after since priests dont have any invincibility skills
now theres the bloody acres issue of not being able to dmg the target
life drain has no practical use unless its maxed so you increase your m.red and decrease your opponents BUT ONLY FOR 4 SEC PER 6 SEC
altho its great against mages and tanks, it does fixed dmg and will only give me 4/6 seconds to have this bonus def (and essentially dmg)

and WHAT is up with grace? pointless when light heal heals more as a lv 10 skill...
infusion needs a bit more burst dmg
blood beam needs a little boost as the dmg increases minimally with our hp and m.atk
not sure why they used 80% ratio when everyone else has 100% or more
light beams cast time and CD makes it less useful than blood beam to many

arguably the buff tree and the curse tree are the most useful parts about a priest... where

i Agree with some points, there're skills on blood tree that really need a buff, blood priest are suppose to do high DPS power, but if you take a look on it, the middle tree of blood the one that should be really affective is pretty useless, take a look on holy right side tree wich you can't learn along with blood mid tree, still the holy buffs, the AB, the debuff skills those are really good along with ressurection, now let's see blood? they got the crit reduce(wich im not sure if it really works) the bloodflow wich i do like more matk as long we got high hp(Good for dungeons), bloodguard? oh come on 3k hp won't give us that much of a boost when ppl do a lot more damage then us, a combat rogue wich lower gear then mine, lower soul, same wings, she does twice of my damage, rogues QD normally takes down a priest with no problem, and what skill do we have to fight them? priest main problem are on skills, rest is good, our stun demon's grasp is pretty useless, we can only stun someone if we channel, wich means to stop someone from moving we need to stop ourself from doin what ever too, wich sucks since the skill doesnt do any damge so basically why are we stunning again? lol, now let's see sacrifice seems like a pretty good skill, but lacks power damage, doesnt do that amazing damage, i had it maxed 5/5 doin around 15k, while my master blood beam at lvl 1 would do 25k, wich takes us to a bad point, blood mid tree sucks period, skills need definitly a buff and we need fix the eidolons skills wich are worst then mortal skills like some pointed out, only logic way to be a good priest to PvP and PvE would be hybrid since if you go full blood you'll lose your debuff skills and buffs for what? pathetic skills that wont increase your atk that much or deal much damage, either just make you use your SP on nothing, i'm sorry to be as harsh as i am beeing but this is the truth, and only priest realise it why? cuz we are the one playing and seeing our characters getting murdered sometimes just bcuz we lack power on some skills, no matter what description says cuz if you go saying priest is meant to support read description so tell me why did they implemented blood priest skills, so if you dont know what you talking about then just don't talk, a lot of ppl trash talks priest yet there's no ladder party that can go far with no priest, you even need 2 priest for really high lvls so yeah if no action on priest will change i doubt you'll see a lot more priest coming in, cuz we're the ones getting disanvantages are priest is the most wanted class on the game, why? cuz rare are the people that can handle a priest, rare is someone that has the patience to believe in changing and fighting for a fairness for everyone, rogues are already strong enough, your damage won't affect you that much since the crit damage, crit chance and dodge from a rogue + atk speed is just pretty dam amazing, rangers are known for strong dps, fast atks and some healing(insta HEALING) using, wich is kinda sad seeing rangers can have a strong shot capable of 1 hit most people, a insta healing with low CD, and still 1 more healing called barskin(heals some of amount damage taken to those who don't know this skill, if used properly you barely can do any damage to them when they have it on), mages strong Aoe's plus that OP aoe stun that cleans up house, knight great defenses with powerfull atk, priests? we got only 1 stun out of so many skills and that stun we can't even use properly so against class's with stuns/silences/healing/high damage skills what can a priest do? this is the main problem we have, our skills lack power to do high damage even if our stats are high sadly ut true :/

Mana is practically useless for priests in general. Assuming 1) Blood Priest or 2) Have max Angel's Blessing. Blood Priests never use mana and a priest with Angel's Blessing never sees a dip in their mana.

I can kill knight as a priest if they didn't have a stun/hook/shockblade combo that's cooling down more than twice faster than my goddess embrace. Blood priest is even worse than holy for this, there is no way for you to avoid shockblade. I believe scion blood skill won't leech hp back fast enough for you to kill the knight with titan guard, or if he turns on invul then just mentally prepare to respawn.

The priest skills are bugged. And until they arent bugged, this forum will never go away. That was the whole purpose of this forum, not just because the game is imbalanced. But sadly the most recent rebirth hasnt made anything better.

knight > rogue > mage > ranger > priest(priest is also the most weark of the classes)

each class was made to kill the next, also priest as made to kill knight as well but blood not holy

priest killing knights o_O? or if I were to be specific "made to kill knight"? I've yet to see the evidence for that(for players of same level and not a lvl gap of like 20).

Also people, let's stay on topic and not drift off into a topic like "the best class is [blah blah]".
