a 2nd possibility amidst us also. that today is actually the 2nd coming, but since the etherealnet lags as well, the J man wanted a few hours of lag free play at the server headquarters directly before our rapture. hallelujah!

no lag would require them to replace lab rats on wheels with squirrels for more speed, they would eat more therefore costing them more money to keep around and we all know they want to keep as much cash as possible.
