Joyopark Update Part Three

  • See, that's the problem. MemoryLane is good at trying to get info for the players who need it, but the response time for them to give him an answer is basically when they finally get it fixed. MemoryLane I don't blame you for this like I have said in the past, you do your job, however these people have had months to do this, all the characters were already moved, how hard is it to link a few characters to the correct account when they were able to restore the first wave of players in a couple of hours during maintenance? I just don't see any valid excuse as to why this is taking so long. If there is a problem with the restore or a question about the information given, then they need to contact the players and let them know what info they need. All around this should have all been taken care of already. It's wrong to treat players or even potential players in this manner with so little respect that they can't even provide them with information as to what is going on. Like I said MemoryLane you do what you can, I know you have limits, but the people performing all the data transfers need to be more motivated to do their job or be replaced. The world we live in today is demanding and if you can't keep up with what you are required to do for a job, there's always someone willing to step up and try harder.

          I am doing my absolute best to make sure you all know that you're not forgotten. I am the last to know about any updates, though I've been trying to find out what I can.. but I keep getting told one thing and another thing (or nothing) happens. I am limited with the information I receive, but I also won't pass along anything I don't agree with or things I don't think any of you would agree with.

          You all deserve to know that I was given an update about this situation on Friday. I don't accept the update, so I won't post it. I've taken the liberty to kick it back up the chain of command on behalf of all of you. I won't hear back on that for a few more days yet, and that's what the delay is right now.

          • So basically they put all the characters on the wrong account for "information checking" and then said they cant restore them like a bunch of idiots after they were incorrectly restored? Personal guess as to what is going on, but seems close to me. Well they have the characters, they said they are going to restore them on maintenance the past month, there's no excuse for them not to. If they can't do that simple of a job then they need to be replaced. Let someone else do it.

            • this is a character with major investment in it. probably some of the characters on the list are the same. this is unnacceptable and I don't like the sound of it. if they were already restored and needed to be moved, I don't see what the problem is

                Ehh... not exactly. There was only a small batch that were restored to the wrong accounts (no worries about that, the accounts are clean, no one can access them) in error. They were suppose to fix that error this past maintenance, and weren't able to. I've made it clear we aren't accepting that, so now we wait until I hear back on that.

                          • That is ****. They said the characters were already restored to the wrong account. This is not the fault of the players. The incompetence of them is unbelievable. They have no reason they can't give the characters back that were already restored INCORRECTLY on their part. The only thing that would be right is if they can't move the characters to make an identical clone with at most the name changed to not overwrite the already existing characters.
