Although you made several good points, we will never catch up to the cash players. Infact, it is a granted fact that if you spend money on MMORPG you will be just that little bit better then the rest.
The point of this thread is to push through that the gap is simply too wide; and that it needs to be made smaller so that the non cashers can compete. I beleive after the cap of Demon Lord wings is raised, a new currency of Wing Material will be introduced, so they really need to do something about this.
Yes my point is exactly as what you said to be the point of this thread. As I mentioned in my previous posts, those 3 systems, and potentially the sperion system, prevent all kind of hard-work to yield any result. I agree that cashers should be a bit better than non-cashers, and that they don't need to work hard for what they want, but at least non-cashers should be allowed to catch up with that through working hard in-game. A system that gives too HUGE the benefits to cashers, which prevents non-cashers from catching up regardless of how hard we play the game, just doesn't sound logical at all.

R2 has to realize that non-cashers and casual spenders are also an important part of the community. Heavy cashers pay to win, but win against whom if in the end, all the casual players quit and the server is left with less than 10 cashers playing, even after multiple merges?

Funny, I ve followed both these threads and have yet to see any response from R2...

The reason I play this game is to compete with the other players, and push how far I can progress. I enjoy being able to work hard on my toon, and for it to show either through stats or battles. However I do not spend any money.

The gap between cashers and free players was acceptable until very recently.
In my opinion the combination of Pixie System, Goddess System and the Sperion System will cause the gap to widen to an unacceptable level. This is due to mandatory use of cash in order to gain powerful benefits. These systems need to be altered to allow free to play toons to progress with the proper amount of effort.

A mediocre toon with any combination of a great pixie, blessing (seal broken), or high lvl Sperion gem combinations will always be far ahead of an immaculate toon who cannot obtain these things.

There have been many fair and brilliant solutions proposed in the forums, even in this thread. my hope is that they are considered and implemented in some way or another in order to balance the power out.

I just thought of adding this here. U have to be a major casher to be far ahead. I just minicashed so I can keep trying with my mount, it's a waste of money and nerves. 5 attempts, actually 6 including the one today and no star, not even a quarter of a star. C'mon, i got sick of the "it's supposed to be hard" speech, this is beyond ridiculous. Congratz on this system, it makes people cash, it also makes them quit. If the staff ignores players' suggestions CS is gonna end up with only 5-6 big cashers on a rererere-merged server

PS I spent a small amount of money but i still work for them and i also farm ingame and getting NOTHING as reward for both my hard work ingame and my cash should prove that CS has flaws that have to be adressed. And for who says "u cashed cause u wanted to, nobody forced u" it's true, the game actually forces u to cash big if u wanna be competitive.

I agree with some of it. Mainly the mount thing got me when I got to Battle Bear and then saw I needed more amount of GMuTs to upgrade each one and to boot there insanely expensive. It just shows with hard work and dedication you can one day achieve, just requires to much damn patience. Especially if your leveling the hardest class to make epic.

I'm a rather hard-working non-cash player that has been playing since the release of the beta version of the game (pretty much a day after alpha ended), and I can say that while it is possible to compete with some cashers it is incredibly hard and takes a hell of a lot of work and dedication... and constantly being online. This being said, I rarely log out of the game. I'm constantly doing things to level up and have been like this for over a year pretty much (except for a month that I had no internet service).

Sometimes I feel that my hard work has finally paid off, but then something comes out that cashers can take advantage of and it widens the gap between me, a dedicated player, and them. I've struggled because I have been unable to pay a dime to get anything I have in this game and yet I've still managed to get quite close to my second aura, I have a hellwing, full purple slayer set (most of which is max enchantment) and a VII Frag weapon. All of which I got way later than anyone else. And you know what made me able to compete with cashers even though I didn't have all the good wings and mounts and other things that they did? Soul. That was it. I worked so hard on my soul that I was able to get kills in sengolia, get my armor, and fight and pvp alongside some of the best players on Aurora Point.

That being said, it most definitely IS possible to be strong without spending any money. But it requires no life and almost no sleep. I don't suggest any of you doing this. But regardless of whatever goals you have in this game work on your Soul. Your Soul is incredibly important and is something that can be 100% obtainable in game without having to cash. In fact, the cash packs for Soul are way too expensive anyway so it's easier to do in game anyway.

Just to give you guys a little idea of what I do.. I am my Ladder party's DPS. Yes, me a hybrid priest. And we get pretty far. My team pretty much consists of a Tank, three priests (me being dps) and a scion mage, who pretty much just comes along for the ride. We are hoping to build her up to eventually be strong, but she is a very casual player and doesn't put a lot of time into the game. On a bear or a Gorilla Titan, I was already out damaging a lot of people on Hellwings. So wrap your heads around that. xD

Thanks for replying. It's good to see some feedback. True it does not REQUIRE cash, but of course it is encouraged and is an easy shortcut to being a top player. The Goddess System (not mentioned in the post) is actually another significant area that actually REQUIRES cash to continue with it. Could you also please state what you enjoy about the game, as it helps me create future threads.
Hello there~ I also want to state that without these systems that require cash r2 won't really be making money @_@. Also it was nice enough of r2 to give us free Roses for Charm points. This allowed enough roses to spread in the servers to allow non-chasers to buy blessings from the cashers. What I enjoy most in this game? The chat of course, always interesting with a few exceptions of spam and whining. I also enjoy PvP since it is fun competing with other players. Well, hope this helps even if its only my personal opinion xD

I agree especially with the underlined part. The fact is not every1 can do that. I don't even like this game THAT much. I do enjoy the chitchat part most of it but i'd also like at least to keep up with the rest since i put some effort into it. Heading towards lvl 80 and only my 1st aura, I worked my butt off to get my wings and my soul where they are, fact is i can t keep working on my mount above bear or on my wings after AL. Simply because i can get SS, PC and hw ingame but when it comes to Gmuts and ethereal wings we can rely ONLY on events and cash.
That's what i keep repeating, we need those to be accessible ingame too. Like add gmuts and ew in nightmare mode KD and above but we need them for normal game progression upgrades, they should be accessible. I'm not asking to make it easy, just make it fair

                        Hi, Alex

After reading your post a couple of times through, I found it pretty interesting.
Congratulations on your stunning toon. Went on Aurora and viewed it -
You also stated that to do that you needed no life. The game shouldn't be like this. It should be one where we don't need to spend EVERY MINUTE to be the best we can. We shouldn't be waiting for Sengolia to be ready, there should be a queue system so we can join pvp when we like, and less rewards.

Come oooon. After reading your signature, the most interesting thing shouldn't be chatting. Honestly, I've met some pretty nice people here, but if R2 see that chat is the most exciting thing in the game, they'll have a wake up call. Chatting shouldn't be the best thing to do, and the game should be more engaging. Unless you're going evil pretty often, PvP rules itself out entirely.

I'll summarize what I posted till now (between rants about my lack of lucky stars) in the way of gaining an even playing field and improving the gameplay

-upgrading materials-ethereal wings and greater mount upgrade tokens should be drops from the 60+ dungeons, nightmare mode (or hard too, debatable)

-morphing crystals - added as sure quest rewards (now there is a possibility to get them as reward for daily hunts) let's say for 10 daily hunts completed

-regular upgrading materials like hw and mut-the amount of these is pretty much the same either it's vault or SR. I'd suggest to differentiate a bit between them because it's not normal to get more drops from vault than from SR. Plus the amount of hw/muts needed is different for the different types of wings. At lvl 60 u d be upgrading at least angel wings/FW so it's kinda normal to get higher drops from the dungeons u run.
-rare pet eggs- add FL eggs to the guild rewards or even better as guild benefits (like the teeka eggs since it's pretty much the same type of pet)

-rethink the possibility of implementing an auction house to help regulate the market. The NPC is there so the intention existed.
-in time add more quests for scion and eidolon please
-events that don't require either 100 alts to cause lag or paying crystals. If i can suggest something maybe a pvp tournament, a pet contest or anything along those lines.
-add some skins/cosmetic type items in the cash shop (not like the costumes with bonuses, just things that would allow us to customize our toons a bit); we like pretty things on our toons and i for one would be more tempted to spend on such things than on failing my mount

PS - got my mount after 26 attempts and the congratz were along the lines of "finally, gratz". For my next upgrade of something i will organize a bet pool for my fails.Wings are at 0 after few attempts, any1 cares to start betting

PPS - i love the queue for sengolia idea
