  • On topic, i have another issue with seng, if i try to enter even 2 minutes late there's no room...Please try to separate it on planes/levels or add more channels to it. Twice this week i was free to play , tried seng NPC, couldn't get in. Other than that, op is right, seng's no fun anymore because of the huge unbalance. I miss the times when we had 1 hr long sengs and a mean tank (venooooom?!) was hugging me to death inthere

    • I feel like, having started in the middle of the first page, Shadow may have missed the key to this topic. I apologize if I missed reading something, but this started out as an "obituary" to seng. The player who made that comes from a server that is over a year old, with cashed up Eidolons who are capable of soloing the crystal in seng in under a min, and it is virtually impossible for the team they are opposing to stop them. We often have times on our server where both sengs are over in less than 10 min. I have seen both end in 3 min.

      There are many feasable tweaks that could be made to rectify this problem that players have put out. Please refer to my suggestion about making towers more like gotor, either you hit it or you dont, and it needs however many hits to kill it.

      I also agree the balencer buffs should be addressed, as I feel they, at time, simply create a bigger gap between players, opposite to their described intent.

      I understand the feeling of being ignored by the GM's. Many people may not relize the little extent they have tp tweak the game, I know I didnt. But to even get awknowledgement, like someone said of a "Thanks for the suggention, we will look into it" would make a world of difference.

      I am, at the time of this post, a lvl 100 scion in full slayers with decent gems, and yet there are Eidolons whom I am amazed if I manage to land a hit of 5k on, and I feel my meteor only works about 3/4 of the time. There is frusteration in this game for those who are newer or not as strong as the people who began playing when the server was formed. I think this stratification is where the frusteration cxomes from- the inability of so many players to make a difference of be able to enjoy the event.

      I hope that this makes sense. I am not trying to rag on or b***h at anyone, I, like so many others, am just looking for change.

      • Seng last sometimes like 2 mins in Killer den now after the merge. It sucks because I don't get enough kills and I need lots of silver. They should have 4 of them in a day so less people might be in one or set a level cap to it.

          dragon hook the ediolons to your side for your priests and everyone else to attack them.
          you will buy a few seconds of time this way.

          careful when stealthing

                would you fill a obituary with insults to higher powers who have nothing to do with the way things are? that's like Day of the Dead (Spanish: DÃ*a de los Muertos) , you have respect for the dead.an the situation. but don't blame random ppl for their death etc. wouldn't put in my grandmas obituary for newspaper for everyone to read full of "curse you this an this person , and you for this an that, and that one thing you did in second grade omg"
                ppl were trashing gms. most gms don't do programming. that's devs, then again there is limits to what they can do. but that's still not their fault. they can only do so much. certain things can't be "waves magic wand and changes" type thing. and i do believe some changes could be made. so i was agreeing with thread opener. and disowning the posts where ppl were trashing others. especially if the people they are trashing could possibly help poke the right people to get some thing noticed.

                my old guild leaders balrog hell does 100k dmg to me. i'm nearly same level same gear. or was at time. its also good for standing on to make sure rogues have a hard time easy pickins on mages

                • Towers and Crystals both need more HP and they need more defense and damage reductions, you should not be able to attack the crystal at all until all the towers have been destroyed, and there should be a safe zone at spawn points.

                  This alone would greatly help Sengolia, splitting by planes will not. The buffs need to truely make things balanced.

                    I agree with you(for all the other changes), BUT the "original game" as you put it, has other priest skills while this one wich is the exact same one from wich.... im guessing (?) they bought the game from, has different skills, why arent they the same? you say they work to make it better for everyone but why is it different to priests and the same for every other class? what you say to that?... and no offence here, but they take the time to imediatly fix a "glitch" as soon as they hear about it, wich helped priests in bath more or some dungeons(angel blessing heal), but take so much time to not do anything about the other priest skills(more then half a year. and counting im more months now...), i just have to say... "they are verry efficient"

                      • It wasn't my intention to start such a heated debate XD. Sengolia in the (S6)/(s10)/(s15)/(s24)/etc..... has been pretty decent lately. Actually lasting up to 15 mins! However the fact of the matter is, it has been up to the players to prop this event up. We as players have literally out grown the bounds of Sengolia. Bottom line.

                        • This was funny to read, we'll worded too. If you want to get into longer lasting Sengs so you can farm silver badges then wait a lil to get into L2 Seng most of the time they last longer than first seng. But yea my server has been talking about ideas os separating Seng into Mortal,Scion, & Eidolon categories xD.

                            they have the rights to let us use this version they got. if it was exactly the same in every way we would already have all the stuff in the original already out. thats why they can't have events at certain times. because there are other platforms who have rights to those times. be like stepping on a family members toes. or parent. coding takes a lot of work if they are working on those things. as i've said before its not as simple as "waves magic wand an things happen". if they have to make a entirely new code for that stuff, would take a while to make sure it integrates with every other sys ok. or you end up with more problems not more fun. with coding its best not to rush things.

                            think its time for a new battleground for strong ppl that makes them more interested in going to that then seng. don't need to be able to do seng if there is something diff, maybe even slightly better for higher geared and classed people. then could remove access to seng an leave it just for the low levels. my grandpa's opinion on this, who worked for AMD as programmer etc is that it would prob more easier to make a new fight area then actually change stuff to preexisting things even if copyright allowed small change. simply because 1 wrong # in the middle of uncountable amts possibly messing up loads of things. still be looking at a while though for things to happen. doesn't just happen over night, not that by any of this i am saying anything will happen. just providing some clarity. o.o*gets distracted by hr long story from grandparent about programming*

                            • I had an idea for Seng, but apparently no one saw it xD

                              First off, there would be 3 Seng groups:
                              1 Mortal
                              1 Scion
                              1 Eidolon

                              These would be the groups which players can join, based on their plane. For example, mortals only in mortal, eids only in eidolon, and scions only in scion. No group can go to a lower Seng, like Eid player going to Scion battleground.

                              These would be held on:
                              L3 for Mortal
                              L4 for Scion
                              L5 for Eidolon

                              And they would go simultaneously to prevent, or help prevent, alt accounts.

                              Now you may say, 'But the higher levels are still gonna beat us!', well I can't help you with that but at least you shouldn't get one shotted that easily as before.

                              • Do you guys not get that if the planes were split up, it would be incredibly boring. The mortal ones would likely last an hour and very likely not have a winner. The scions really can fight on par with a lot of Eidolons, and it would be boring to split the two up.

                                You guys don't really understand, that's not the solution we need.
