  • One striker or two?

    I have always thought that strikers scale out decently. I.e. two 400 BR strikers can be more effective than 1 550 br striker which costs a similar amount to create - due to the diminishing returns on damage output.
    There may also be some benefit to Stikers like Thunderlord who is very effective first round pvp.
    However, a strong counter point is the lack of back row positions available. It you have two strikers, you only have room for 1 rage booster.

    So here is a question - which would you prefer:
    LE Hecate
    Nereid Main
    ES (550k br)

    Or
    LE Hecate
    ES (400k Br) Main
    ThunderLord (400k br)

    I have the latter and I am thinking of converting to the former. But it is not an easily reversible transformation.
    Hecate doesn't need to go in front but I am assuing a PVP match where a healer is not going to help much

    i saw some players who go w/o heroes, just main on front, hecate in back row and glacia deployed, so everything is based on your game style

      Two 400k br will most definitely do more damage than 1 550k br, however the chance that one or both of the 400k will die in 1-2 hit is also more likely than having one 550k. Your build is fine, if you are a heavy casher, who have double the amount of resources as your opponent to build 2 strikers, but if you have that much and put it all in one, you'd still win, so doesn't matter. The former build is easier on light/medium casher.

        well 1st.upgrade LE and Nerida to +18 or +21 for IGB and I think that ES is better that Lord

          Im thinking on the same atm... I have a topic also

          I think Astral Hunter might be a lil usefull than Nereida cos he doesnt need rage and giving the same type of buffs than Nereida next to Ligth Envoy.
          Also that new Godless Wolff looks better than any other damage dealer so i might take him as 2nd damage dealer or the Thunder Lord (dont have the upgraded version)

          My actual looks like this
          Hecate / Light Envoy / EarthShaker / Amazon / Main


          I think i will change into
          Astral Hunter / Light Envoy / EarthShaker / GodlessWolf / Main

              Lookin good. Im using Rage totem atm cos the 2 Rage buffer is not really rdy for such work. As soon as they are upgraded i will start using charm totem.

              My main is on 21k Dodge atm but i hope in a few weeks it can be 23 or so.

              Im trying to get Arcane Spirit but im a lil far from it.

              What is IRB 2?

                Arcane Spirit upgraded form is better than Godless isnt it? Or the reflect worth every coin?

                  Thanks for the input. Tyler and Zivatar.
                  I personally prefer Thunderlord over Godless as his first round attack can more effectively disable the back row.
                  Also, if you are still working on your rage build, Thunderlord only requires 50 rage, same as ES. Godless is a much better value however, but if you have 7's Arcane is free and ThunderLord will probably come down in price.
                  You don't have to be a heavy casher to get these heros. I save up 1200 cards and then I can get any hero in Big Hoc without cashing.
                  I do spend cash to get the vouchers (i.e. 300 dims for lazer) but not beyond that never on cards.

                  When you combine resources of two strikers into one, your net BR decreases. I.e. it takes 3 gems of level x to get to level x+1 but the increase is only 1.5x.
                  I.e. if you take the level 8's from two heros, you won't have enought for a full set of level 9's.
                  Equip enhance is capped and if you are successful you probably have enought gold from guantlet to max it.
                  Dragonsoul combining has similar dimishing returns as does enchanting and buffing up your guardian angel and cherubs.
                  So I would say that if you combine two 400k br heros you will be lucky to have 1 550k br hero.

                    I shoud mention that these rules do not apply to tanks becaus dodge, end, block def and hp are all multiplicative.
                    Incremental improvements yeild multiplcative returns.
                    So more that one tank is a bad item.
                    It only makes sense to use you main here from what I can tell.
                    The second front row hero is usually a sacrifice in pve, but in PVP with the high number of back row strikers and rage attacks the front row off center position doesn't always take that much more damage than the back row.

                        i know it's not easy to reach LE to +21.
                        while boosting up LE to that place, can I use nereida + blazing --> (team skill) + LE for a while?

                          It would be interesting to see Blaze in a Rage Setup. I've never seen her do anything good.
                          It would be a little bit like horseman with a ring, but horseman is just a nuisance.

                            LE + 16 NE + 13 --- Gold Dragon Totem
                            GW + 17 Main + 22
                            ES + 19

                            My first thing should be to raise LE to 21 and NE to 18?

                              Our entire server is filled with Nereida and LE. TA ends fast for us XD.

                              We never really used to encounter that helm bug issue as the enemies usually dont last till that bug becomes an issue.

                              Downside is guantlet is too easy and the guild BR, flag and guild lv increase is never enough to catch up to the growing numbers of IRB every other day...
