My Mother was someone who truly believed in me,
From the day I was born there was a path she could see.

Early on she taught me how to be myself ,
Never once would she allow me to sit on a shelf.

To me, a young child there was nothing she could not do,
Her super powers rivaled anything a super hero knew.

The love she felt for me would many times seem stern,
But it was only becauseof what she wanted me to learn.

Her life was not long and she was only known by a few,
The love she gave us only a mother would have a clue.

As Mothers Day approaches My eyes still fill with tears,
She taught me so much Yet I still battle my fears.

Even though I know that she will always be by my side,
On certain days of the year I can no longer fight this tide.

So once again I will close my eyes and let this salty water fall,
I can only smile as I imagine her reaction if she could read this wall.

Mama, I fought you always, I was too young to see
that the reasons you did things were all for your love for me.

I have finally opened my eyes and your grandson gives me a fight,
But I will do my best to teach him before he takes flight.

I smile gently as i look at his sleeping face illuminated by the moon
And Whisper Happy Mother's Day to a mom who left too soon.

Sadly my Mother passed away a year ago tomorrow
I still feel her, and sometimes even pick up the phone to call her before I remember.

we already had our mothers day in the uk at the end of march. i brought my mum a card of both me and my kids and we each got her a gift.

my mum has been there for me my whole life. and helps me out still if i need it.

my daughter had made me a card from school for mothers day and they had to draw a picture of what their mums like to do. my daughter drew a pic of me sitting at the computer as i spend a lot of time each day playing LOA

Well, gotta say I'm a momma's boy, so my mom is my world! I was a homeschooler and my mom
was the one who taught me the most since my dad had to work. She is always happy, bubbly and
smiling, and I can't even begin to repay her for all that she's done for me over my 25 years.
my mom is really an angel! lol!

We usually go out to eat for Mother's Day, and we probably still will, but this Mother's Day, I decided instead of
buying her something, I would try to make her something, and since I had some spare wood and latticework
laying around, I made her a trellis for her roses! ^_^
