why is there a need to trump the previous events ?
not all events have to be as awesome as the rest.

Yes, they did not bring out their big guns for their anniversary, so what ? u can expect these on some different time then.

That's the thing,we were expecting huge guns because they made such big deal 2 weeks before the event ,if they didn't announce it at all and moved thief thing to now,people wouldn't be so pisssed . Dont create such hype and then give us ****.

The events are overall average, they arent VERY good and they arent all bad either, and those who didnt say anything, like "any constructive criticism", already got all they needed like mounts morphs (those are the main) from the previous events so why should they say anything about these events since they dont actually need anything but some other stuff to do in game so they dont get bored,( and probably some ewings +enchat stuff,ss and similar items), dont you think other people, like players who started playing the game 1 month ago or so or even 1-2 weeks ago get a chance to get the stuff you got from the events in the past? - but sorry people who already got them in the past dont care about the other new players or those who didnt get a chance then to get them when the events were on.... and yes i can relate adding new content like lvl 120 or reborn because well once you reach max level you start working more and more on your items and soul wich gets well booring after a while and some people might like the reborn sistem or they just start creating a new character and they might want some of the past events to come back so their new character can get a little bit stronger with them and yes im talking about alts but if you get them max level and work on their gear that doesnt mean its an alt.. its sort of like a second main, at least for me, i dont think about my 2nd character to be an alt because i play on him almost as much as i play on my first toon, altough i do work to get the items needed to improve him with my first toon(common logic)....
Anyway kind of went off track there, my point was suposed to be something like, people who already got the upgrades they needed/wanted from past event will not complain because i dont see why should they, they already "progited" from the past events and now they got nothing "bad" to say cos it benefited them and they got what they wanted most of them are the players "raging" at the other players who are criticising these weeks events and they are right there to. R2Games gives weekly events true some are good and some are bad but they should consider readding some of the past events again after a period of time so -as i said earlyer- NEW PLAYERS could upgrade their characters to and not "suffer" just because they didnt play at the time that event was on.

New players have benefitted from old players. We maxed our wings and mounts etc and can now sell those dungeon drops incredibly cheap. I remember paying 3g for wings and MUTs, and now I'll be lucky to get 2s for a MUT or 50s for a HW. So they have it extremely easy in that regard. Now they have pretty much caught up to us in wing/mounts and need the same rewards we need to advance.

As I said in an other thread. the rewards aren't benefiting the players who are already playing for half a year and longer.
People who were here when the game started and supported it. This anniversary wouldn't be able without them.

Why not giving those players any benefit in this anniversary?

Temp Mounts, temp equips, afk time, all great for new players who never expierenced that but for us, meh.
The soulshards are nice but its nothing special to be honest.

It's just the attempt to get a new generation of cashers who want to obtain those mounts. Heck, even a DS is trash for people like us.
New players might be tempted by the easy dungeon runs to actually cash up.

Same with all the new servers while other servers still have issues with lag. They should stop to be greedy and be thankful.

Apart from Miroku's patronizing tone which is never welcome I for one am not happy with the events. I think that events are mainly meant to create fun for the players base. So not give us "rewards" with a tiny teaspoon. I don't even ask for a soul event, gmut event or MC event like others. Those should be accessible in game by hard work. And they are not.


And that thing about "u're not happy we stop creating events" is futile and not very polite either. When to get a decent pet costs a player 80 dollars the devs should jump when they re told to jump and ask "how high" simply because they get paid by us. That's how it works. And we don't need to be treated like naughty children when we pay for their services. No, the majority of players DID NOT LIKE ur anniversary event, deal with it and use common sense too if it's possible. Take their opinion into consideration and do better next time. And drop the "we're offended cause we worked hard" attitude cause we don't really care for it, u obviously didn't work hard enough. The prices are very high for anything in CS, much higher than in other pay to play MMOs so CS players are right to ask for decent events when some spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on pixels. If the devs had another job and their customers would be unhappy with them would they be able to say "stuff the customers, we worked hard if they're not happy their problem, i stop servicing them"? I don't think so, such employees would get sacked.


Unlike the previous posters i ve played way more than 2 MMOs and i can honestly say R2g is one of the most expensive ones thus should offer more to keep the players happy.

Until recently, I'd never spent a dime on here. Abandoned a 50+scion mage with decent (300+) soul etc to switch to a new server. As far as all the complaints, I'd rather be on here with no events than go back to SS2. That was a year of my life wasted -_-. Are the events currently going on not as spectacular as some of the past ones? No, but at least they are there. Just wondering how much complaining will keep popping up each time an event is put out.

Quite a few people got to gryphon/hellwing without cashing using the Gmut exchange and a lot of grinding for gold. (titan hated me too much on my old server....) As far as price goes, yes CS is a bit...expensive, but it's still way better than previous games I've played (WoW, Runescape included). I prefer high prices and a staff that answers to "spend one time, get the good stuff, never get listened to ever" on a game.

Also this is not a demo, cashers and non-cashers alike get access to the exact same content. There is no " if you don't pay you can't get past X area or reach X lvl". EVERYONE can access the same areas/lvls regardless of spending money or not.

u're VIP if i'm not wrong. Let's see...starting with "VIP account" which is NOT an account it's actually just one character right?...well that one character gets the full game experience, increased exp gain, increased pet exp gain, 8 dungeon runs etc etc. That is actually a normal account that benefits from the entire game content, the others are in my books free to play/ demo accounts. About the gmut exchange yes, i did, failed again, not happy with the randomness of this game in general, with what i got from events in particular. If u are, good on u, most aren't happy with the events. That's not a reason to start a thread about it calling the unhappy ones "ungrateful". What should we be grateful for, something we put time or money or both in and didn't get the results we wanted? I don't think that's how the gratitude thing works.

PS @codawg-yes, probably coming from WoW u d think this is great, i haven t played that for more than 3 days i think so can't say much about it but i heard that it's not great customer service -wise. I played some free some p2p games, mu, rappelz, aion, Lineage I -II, pw, silkroad, fury, gw (+others i can t remember now)and the only company that felt like "we don't give a ** about what u ppl say" in my opinion was NCsoft. I get the same vibe here from r2g. The same mentality "u paid cause u wanted to, we're not obligated in any way to provide service" That's plain wrong.

They used that event wich isnt permanent, they should put it up every few months but they dont and what about those who didnt get them using that event because it wasnt put back on? just wait untill next events and so on without upgrading your toon to see if they add it again?.. and now its not worth buying gmuts from players because its 9-11g each, you would have to "grind for gold" a few weeks or more to afford 1 try on your mount, not everyone can be on 24/7 to go sell the loot ten go back grinding or check the shop each hour to see if they sold, then "waste" 30 minutes finding CASHERS from who to buy items(not just gmuts)... its not that easy, and im not saying to make it easy cos well even with events they werent all easy you had to work for them and preovide ingame farmable resources to get item shop things, just saying that @R22059759 is right you either cash or farm for a month in your FREE TIME(might be exagerated a bit), instead of actually having some fun then to grind all day and run dungeons, to get 1 try for wings, mount, morphs and others... im not saying make it super easy but just bring back some past events from time to time. For example... like they just did with ladder quests before the anniversary, that event wasnt new but everyone enjoyed it and it wasnt easy either takes people who put work into their characters to increase their stats to make it far in ladder, not everyone could advance as high to gain alot of rewards but everyone was happy cos it gave them drive to try and get better and to work more on their toons so they reach a higher floor...

Well nothing wrong with telling the GM if you like an event or not just be respectful about it and if you don't like it say WHY instead of whining. I spend money on this game same as if I bought a video game (in my book) I buy for the cloths and the mounts. The event thats going on now its not bad. Like the mount reminds me of She-Ra ^.^ if you have an idea to help them make the game more fun or an event that you might like let them know. R2 does listen and keeps the gamers in mind about events they have which is nice. People that spend money towards the game yeah shows more apperication towards them without them spending money R2 can't do much without funding everyone needs to get paid right? R2 has its ups and downs, but everyone is I'm thankful they keep us in mind for the most part and we do have events on here.
