My advise: move your feet or don't join because Sengolia has honor system.

Sengolia is ridiculous.
Honestly, this has gotten out of hand.. I've read the Patch Notes up and down but may have missed something, but the Honor Rankings no longer matter..
Certainly one could argue that to gain Honor in tiny increments for the killing of another player in Sengolia is a fun addition for small reasons, however it breeds chaos as it essentially encourages players to Spawn-Kill en masse. As well, there are players of higher Honor Rankings, such as those of the server-limited Rankings of Viceroy and higher, who LOSE Honor as they die. As insanely trying as it already is to reach these levels now players who have made the goal are in fear of losing these hard-earned Ranks to Spawn-Kills, and players who already use mob tactics to multi-v-1? Priests who already suffer in power compared to the more offensive-heavy Classes will be viewed among the easiest targets and swarmed on sight by frenzied mobs looking to make as much as 50 Honor, while they lose heavily, and Classes such as Rogues who lack defensive backing as well may manage one or two kills but be promptly swarmed themselves.
I'll ask again, where is the thought to these ideas, and when will actual ideas with real insight and ideal conditions for everyone be implemented? This is beyond annoying.. Pardon me, my face and my palm need to get acquainted again..
EDIT: Did I mention this puts targets on the backs of higher-Ranked players? Good job, harassment is now the name of the game.. *sigh*Last edited by FarFallen; 06-28-2012, 07:46 PM."Doing nothing is very hard to do, you never know when you're finished."

I understand that but first of all, before the maintenance, have you noticed something peculiar in Sengolia? Every time you kill someone, you gain 0 honor. For me, I like the changes they've done now and for what reason? Avoid spawn-killing. My advise: stay away from high-level killers if you don't lose honor that much. If you don't like it, don't enter Sengolia at all. Simple as that.

from what I understand it was originally supposed to be this way. However, at the point on older servers, when people have worked their butts off for months to get emporer ranking, we're going to get penalized with no notice working hard? If it wasn't in when we all started, why even bother putting honor from kills in seng now? just going to tick people off.The one and only Krysia from Sea of dreams (Thank god for that; one of me is too many!)

i feel people of higher ranks should gain no honor when killing someone of lower rank. highers ranks must kill their rank or higher for points. same with death, if you die against a higher rank no honor loss, but if you die to someone of equal or lower status you should lose honor as its expected you should be better than them.Crystal Saga:

1. Not entering Sengolia for a week means a loss of Bronze and Silver Honor Badges, and (this new concept not-withstanding) 80-240 Honor per day. Multiply that by fourteen (two instances a day per week), it won't work and a good 99.9% or greater of the game's player-base active in Sengolia will riot.
2. How exactly does one avoid spawn-killing when it goes to them, looking for them and killing them while they're elsewhere in the Sengolia map, only to be sent to the Spawn point and slain there repeatedly?
I'm sorry, but this was obviously a phantom Event as was the Easter Free-Revive, which also caused an abundance of chaos, and I hope R2 realizes these kinds of things are simply unacceptable. To gain 0 Honor by achieving a kill in Sengolia was perfectly fine for the longest time, now this makes rising in Honor Ranks ridiculously easy and the efforts of honest players seem moot. And for those higher-Ranked players to lose Honor and positions in Rank, with a mile-long target essentially placed on their back, is downright disgraceful.. There needs to be some accountability."Doing nothing is very hard to do, you never know when you're finished."

if dats da case, u guys shud ask gm to check their system so that they wont auto kick out people who get killed too many times. asking them to create a safe zone is totally a different matter. its like u wanted to stay in da safe zone and afk all the way throughout seng. i personally think dat if u aledi attain a scion, its impossible for u to b spawn killed especially a ranger... u have invulnerability right?

off-topic-I lost both sengs i've been in today but it was heaps of fun and no spawnkilling happened.
PS that is exactly why i opened this thread, to ask a GM to fix this bug, either by warning players not to do it or by creating a small invulnerability time/barrier, up to them what they choose.Last edited by Kayshah; 06-29-2012, 12:06 AM.

To not go in seng is just plain ridiculous. If you don't want your savage / slayer gear, go ahead stay out of seng. Talm is stupid, you can only get enough kills if there are people in Talm! But half the time there is only like 5 people there going around actually playing it. How on Earth are you meant to get enough kills for badges? The rest of the PvP events don't offer silver, and as you know, silver and gold are the hardest to earn, bronze isn't a problem with Deliv and GR.
Please who goes around making these stupid ideasIf I post something really weird that makes no sense whatsoever it means I'm not mentally there at the time I post it (probably sleep deprived)

noobs are really noobs... here are my suggestion
1. get stronger... charge more money or be spawn killed by other players
2. if u cant stand da heat, stay away from da kitchen. if u dun wanna be killed, dont enter seng. as simple as that.
if u want more badges, get stronger and spawn kill other people back. heck get all ur alts into seng and spawn kill all ur alts... gain a lot badges that way... or else dont enther seng.

Sengolia has never been fair in the beginning, because it doesn't reward the winning team as a whole, but rewards different individuals based on their number of kills. You should see the big picture, where different classes has different roles. Surely a priest can put aside his support role in Seng and go kill his enemies, but he can never do it as good as a DPS knight or rogue who, as their names suggests, are meant for killing. This silver badge system based on kills have been penalizing support priests for the whole time, as it means priests have slower rate of obtaining pvp equipment such as savage set. This slower rate of obtaining such item will simply make them an easier kill in Seng, and will just feed kills to those with savage, which creates a vicious circle where the difference between a priest and other classes becomes widened as time pass by.
And now you are introducing this honor system in. For the whole time since the beginning of the game, honor has been fair for everyone, as no matter which class you choose, you have a fair chance of getting honor. Now, when you change the system to be like this, you are again widening the honor gap between priest and other classes.
Sengolia was meant to be a Blue vs Red battleground, however, it has lost its meaning just because of the old silvers-based-on-kill system (as you can see in new servers, people never bother going for crystals, they simply go kill the other team because of the 4 silvers from killing the enemies are a lot easier to gain than 1 silver from winning Seng). With this new honor system, you are just encourage people to ignore the real meaning of Sengolia even more.
In my opinion, R2 should consider the balance between classes more before they implement something new. All they should bear in mind is that DIFFERENT CLASSES ARE GOOD AT DIFFERENT THINGS, and they should not implement anything that is unfair for a certain class yet offers advantages to others (another example of this is the Avernal Realm where priests have almost no chance to out-DPS rogues)
