I feel that with the splits sengs are going to be way too long. I feel that a better solution to this is to just make a better way of sorting teams somehow. It first makes blue L1 then red L1 then red L2 then blue L2 and this is a terrible method. All decent players will spam click into seng to get blue and they destroy in L1 and L2 blue has to few players and usually gets destroyed (this is how it is in my server at least). I feel that it should put a certain amount of lvls one each team so it is a fair and good battle the way seng should be.

Sadly, at least on Chuerna Gorge, it's gone beyond just Spawn Point Farming.
The most recent tactic (if you can call it that) is of a certain guild which does not atttack any of its own members (if they are on opposing teams), they simply let eachother pass and creat a blockage around the Spawn Point, and sit on the Crystal to make it nigh impossible to target any enemies or defend. Then the guilds Scions, whittle the opposing Crystal of (depending on which top member they have in Seng at the time) and procceed to just farm non guild opposing team players, while the rest just sit around chatting an making sure that none can defend or get away from Spawn Point.
As for seperate Sengolias, there is often Seng L2, but that in this case is most often a non-event due to the same guild just sitting and waiting. If their chosen members of the day do not have all the Honor Points they wanted, they force the event to become stagnant, not allowing anyone to do anything but be farmed, until the timer is up.Last edited by R22077019; 07-25-2012, 10:00 AM.What ever happened to, this game?

Breaking it up into scions only/mortals only won't stop this from happening, unfortunately. It'll just make more instances of Seng for them to do it in.New R2 Community Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VFMzFDqKq5

They tend to preffer to get their entire list of online guild members into one Layer of Seng thus making it so that they can herd the non guil pleyrs like sheep with their top Scions.Server: (S6)Windshear Peaks

As far as I have been seeing, the problems of balance in Seng... are infact, a large and in some cases the only reason the player base is so small on some servers.
After the merger our server had a great amount of player but the events in Seng (Scions and Heavily cashed Scions along with the other Seng issues)....The populace decreased by easily half within a very short period of time. What ever happened to, this game?

I find it funny that you complain about this on Windshear Peaks, where we are working hard with everyone involved to make seng more balanced and draw it out as long as possible, despite some people being able to more or less solo the crystal. Everyone isn't always listening though, but there's nothing you can do about that.
I do have some suggestions, as I've seen the same problem popping up time and time again:
- The division of the teams. They end up being extremely unbalanced, with almost all high levels on one team. There should perhaps be a lvl based divider to make the teams more balanced.
- Give the towers and crystal more HP. People can pretty easily solo both, increasing the HP would encourage more team work
- A chat instance only for the team you are on, making it easier to work as a team within seng, and usable only during seng.
What it boils down to, IMO, is that Seng hasn't changed but the characters have a lot, becoming increasingly powerful. Seng was a challenge for almost everyone except for top levels perhaps, while now it is just another farm instance for an increasing number of people. Sort of like extending the Crystal Ladder has given new incentive to higher levels, perhaps tweaking Seng could revive it and make it a fun battle again.IGN: Sigrun
