if that is true shame on r2, not like this event wasnt running for 1 month. if they are so incompetent not to test everything before hand well, then they deserve all the abuse they are currently getting.

How is using a pot etc. abuse? No one should have to quit the game and wait for pots to wear off for them to run their script at an unannounced time.

If they had any brains it would have been an automatic award just like leveling. You hit the BR, you get your prize. Then if there were issues they'd deal with them a few at a time instead of 10,000 at once.

And this is not a 7roads issue, this is a R2 issue. Because 7Roads/Aeria Games rewards stuff went smoothly.

It would not surprise me that the developers meant for potted BR to be counted and R2 in their greed added an extra layer of difficultly by negating pots to create a spending spree for people trying to attain the BR needed. Thus R2's internal scripts are failing to extract the data from the file the developers sent them. How else would you explain Aeria Games getting the data from 7Roads and distributing so quickly. Aeria pot BR counted, therefore you have to think that the developers did not restrict potted BR.





Edit - It wont be fair to not also give a theory giving R2 the benefit of the doubt.


Theory 2

It can also be that Aeria Games was not supposed to count the potted BR (which they did, this is confirmed). Aeria could have distributed and then realized to late that their script did not work, thus players with potted BR got rewards they were not entitled too. Maybe R2 was using the same script and realized that Aeria's script was malfunctioning, thus R2 slammed the breaks to fix the issue. R2 thus making sure no players with potted BR gets rewards unjustly. Either way this is a data extraction problem.

Because right now on the Aeria forums people who were not potted for the event but missed rewards by small margins are freaking out because other players got rewards because of pots which enhanced their BRs.

If R2, Kong and Kabam players face Aeria Players in CW and BG and Arena etc then that's a whole other argument with regards to fairness of the entire event.

This actually sounds like a pretty solid theory since we all know how greedy R2 is.
